Huggies Diapers and Wipes Deal

So here's the scoop on this AWESOME deal.  The promotion reads "buy $25 or more of participating products, receive a $10 Register Rewards."  Products include Huggies (both diapers and wipes), Kotex, Kleenex, Poise, Depends, Scott, and Cottenelle.  While you could work up scenarios on all these products, I'm going to focus on Huggies.  (Hey, what can I say?  I've got a baby on my hands!)

  • Sale price $10 for Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers – buy 2
  • Sale price $6 for Huggies 184-232 ct baby wipes – buy 1
  • Use (2) $5 off 1 printable coupons for the diapers (make sure to purchase the Gentle Care Variety!)
  • Use (1) $1 off 1 bath and body product (from the 1/11 SmartSource)
  • Pay $15 at the register
  • Receive a $10 Register Rewards
  • Bottom line: $5.00 for 2 jumbo packs of diapers and a large package of wipes!

Please note that the Internet diaper coupons may not be around for much longer.  If that's the case, you can use the wipes coupon and then: $1.50 off 1 coupon (found in 2/8 SmartSource and 3/1 SmartSource) for a bottom line of $12 OR use a $2 off 1 Pull-Ups coupon (found in 2/22 SmartSource) for a bottom line of $11.  Still not too shabby!

*EasySaver Coupons are found in the store by the weekly ad.  They are in a small booklet that also contains the monthly rebate program.  Don't worry about ripping these coupons out; just flip open to the page of the coupon and present to the cashier to scan.

**Register Rewards coupons will print for you with your receipt.  They basically act as a gift certificate – you can apply them towards the next purchase you choose.  A few important things to note.

1 -You cannot "roll" Register Rewards on the same deal at Walgreens.  So if I got my $10 Register Rewards for the diaper deal above, I can't turn around and use it on more diapers.  (Well, technically I CAN, I'm just not going to get another $10)!

2 -Walgreens processes Register Rewards like manufacturer coupons and they have a policy that states you must have at least as many items as coupons.  So if you are hoping to buy a $20 item with a $5 manufacturer's coupon and a $10 Register Rewards, make sure to purchase a cheap "filler" to ensure the transaction goes through.

3 - Finally, note these are not redeemable for cash.  So don't attempt to use a $10 Register Rewards on a $7.50 purchase.

You can view the entire Walgreens EasySaver Catalog here, and you can view this week's circular here.
