So based off preliminary survey results, it looks like there is an interest in having me do more grocery store deals. I'm going to do my darndest to deliver that to you! Give me a few days to come up with a good strategy for doing that (and please leave a comment if you have specific ways you'd like me to do that – stores? days of week? regular matchups? etc?).
I'm going to spend some time reviewing some current grocery deals, but in the meantime there is one I'm aware of that I want to draw your attention to.
Right now, Safeway (and some affiliates) are running a "Living Well, Feeling Great" promo through May 5th! When you spend $30 or more on participating products, you will receive a $10 coupon good for your next purchase. All the items are naturally, of the healthier variety (thus proving my point from yesterday's post!).
A few things to note:
1. You CAN use coupons!! The $30 is the value BEFORE coupons. If your total rings up at $30 and after coupons you spend only $20, guess what – you still get your $10 coupon!
2. This deal rolls. If you're unfamiliar with that concept, it means you can take the $10 coupon you just received and use it towards the purchase of another $30 worth of product and you'll get another $10 coupon. And so forth.
3. For the maximum savings, try to come in as close to $30 as possible. This should go without saying, but try to get your total just at $30 or right over for the best savings. Break your transactions out. This is going to require some planning ahead of time, but from what I've read this is a GOOD SALE and will be worth the time!
For additional details as well as scenarios for this deal, you can visit Moneywise Moms, Abundant Food Savings, and the Safeway website for the ad.
Have a good scenario on your blog about this sale? Or did you have a good Safeway trip? Comments always encouraged.
