Restaurant.com $25 gift certificates only $2 each through 7/28!

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 300 x 250

I've yet to try Restaurant.com, but I've been hearing great things about it.  And now through the 28th, you can try it for cheap, cheap, cheap.

Here's how it works.  On their website, you enter your zip code.  Then, it will bring all the participating restaurants in your area.  You can then buy gift certificates good for the restaurants you select.  There are a couple requirements – for instance, on most $25 gift certificates, your total bill must be at least $35 or more (alcohol not included).  Knowing that, I'd like to think of these more as killer coupons and a great way to eat out at nice restaurants for cheap.  The certficates are emailed to you so you can use them right away.  And I believe they are valid for up to one year after you buy them.

I entered my zip code and guess what?  I found many restaurants that my family either enjoys or would like to try in the near future.

On to the good part – right now, the $25 gift certificates are 80% off!  Select the ones you'd like, and then go to checkout.  At the top of the screen is a place to enter a code and type in NAPKIN.  The 80% discount will be reflected before payment.  This offer is good through 7/28.

Here's how your potential savings could break out (hypothetically):

Buy 10 gift certs for $25: $20
Total bill at each restaurant $35 = $350
Discount with certs = $250
Your OOP (for certs and restaurants) = $120
% Saved = 66%!

That's like paying $12 per trip!  To check out which restaurants are available in your area and to give it a try, go here or click the image above.

(Incidentally, I recently earned a $25 Restaurant.com e-card through Swagbucks.  I tried to redeem it on this sale, but it was a no-go.  However, it's still be a great route to go to nab a couple gift certificates for free!)
