Safeway deals 7/1 – 7/7 (Northwest Region)

Safeway

UPDATE: I found an unadvertised deal about General Mills cereal and free gallons of milk after I made my initial Safeway deals post.  Be sure to read the details here

First off, there is a 4-day sale currently running at Safeway.  It started yesterday, 7/1 and runs through 7/4:

4 Day Sale Items – Highlights

  • Tillamook Cheese, 2 lb chunk: $3.99 (the lowest price I've seen in a long time!) – Limit 2
  • Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice, 64 oz.: $1.98 (there is a $1-off-1 select Ocean Spray varieties in the 3/29 SmartSource; also, $0.55-off-1 select varieties from the 5/31 Red Plum)
  • Nabisco Crackers, 7-10 oz. (Wheat Thins, Chicken in a Biscuit pictured): $1.69
  • Dreyers Ice Cream, 1.5 qt.: $2.79
  • Buy 2, get 3 free 12-pack soda (Coke, Pepsi, 7Up): your total savings on 5 will be $18.87, so I am guessing you have to buy 2 at $6.29 each = 12.58 total for 5 12-packs (~$2.50 each)

Super Coupons – 4 day only (found in ad)
Please remember you must spend $20 on your transaction to redeem these coupons.  Also, note the limits.

  • Lays Potato Chips: 2 for $3 (Must buy 2)
  • Best Foods Mayonnaise, 22-30 oz.:  $1.99 (some regions may have received a $0.50-off-1 in the 5/17 Red Plum…others got a $1-off-2.  Since this is a limit 1 item, I only recommend stacking if you received the $0.50-off-1.)
  • Kraft Singles: $0.99 (Limit 2) (reports that there may be coupon booklets in the store that have $0.50-off-1 Kraft Singles coupons – look in the dairy section!)
  • Kingsford Charcoal: $5.99 (some areas may have received a $4-off-1 from 6/28 Red Plum) = $1.99 (Limit 1) OR you could use the $2-off-2 when you buy the charcoal and the KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce (on sale for $1.79) = $5.78 for the charcoal and sauce

Now, on to the deals that will last through 7/7:

MEAT

  • Ball Park Franks: $0.99 ($1-off-2 from 6/28 Red Plum) = $0.49 each

  • Cherries: $1.48/lb
  • Pineapple: $2.99 each

GROCERY

  • Kraft Salad Dressing: $1.67 (use the $1-off-1 from 6/21 SmartSource) = $0.67

I must say that these are not good deals (with possibly Duracell being the exception).  I wanted to share them with you in case you needed any of these items.  Please remember you must purchase $20 of groceries to redeem.

Hello! I am so happy to have found a blog from someone in Washington!

Anyway, I was at Safeway tonight and the 2 pound boxes of strawberries were $1.99 down from $6.50….I don’t think it was in the ad.

I also used the Kingsford charcoal coupon with the Gather Round the Grill Pork coupon to get the charcaol and 6 pounds of Pork Ribs for $6.

The pork coupon is here:

The charcoal is only part of the four day sale though….Also, you have to buy something else from a few brand choices. Ballpark hotdogs are included. Also, my ribs were $5.45, and the coupon still took off six dollars. So I guess I actually spent $6.50ish because I used the ballpark coupon too.
