Walgreens deals 7/5 – 7/11

Walgreens_logo1

As I mentioned last week, I've decided to start posting my drugstore deals on Fridays now to give you extra time to hunt for coupons and find additional deals!  This week's ad looks to be pretty light, but there are a couple deals that you might be interested in doing this week.

This week's best bets:

Goody

Goody Ouchless Headband with Flex Tips
Pay $3.99
Use this $1-off-1 printable (hint: sort by "personal care" to save time!)
Receive a Catalina coupon at the register with instructions on getting free after rebate
Bottom line: ($1.00)

Here are the UPCs for the headbands printing this rebate:
4 1457 2334 5
4 1457 0929 1
4 1457 0929 4

(Thanks, i heart wags!)

24-pack Nestle water
In-ad coupon for $3.99
Stack with this $1-off-1 printable
Bottom line: $2.99 for 24 ($0.12 each)

EDITED on 7/5:
Starbucks Ice Cream

Buy one at $4.79, get one free
Use (2) $2-off-1 coupons (6/21 SmartSource)
(Or you could use (2) $1-off-1 printables)
Bottom line: $0.79 for 2 ($0.40 each) – $2.79 for 2 ($1.40 each)
Note: stores may vary on their policy about 2 coupons on a buy one, get one sale.  Consult your store for details.  Even at $2.79, I'd still consider this a deal worth doing!

Cover Girl Register Rewards Deal
Buy $10 worth of Cover Girl cosmetics, get $3 Register Rewards*.

  • Use $1-off-1 or $2-off-2 from 6/7 P&G (you may have gotten either)
  • There will be a $1-off-1 coupon in this week's P&G as well (7/5)

On the Walgreens website, it looks like mascara starts at around $5.49, and lipstick around $5.99.  There most certainly will be better selection in the stores.  I'd personally look at items such as pencils (eye, lip) and single eye colors for the greatest deals.

Other deals you may wish to consider:

Fiber One Cereal
On sale for $2.33
Use this $0.75-off-1 printable
Bottom line: $1.58

Maxwell House Coffee, 11-11.5 oz.
On sale for $2.33
Use the $1-off-1 coupon (6/14 SmartSource)
Bottom line: $1.33

Dental Care Register Rewards Deal
Buy $10 worth participating products, get $3 Register Rewards*.  Each item will be priced at $2.50 this week – so buy 4:

  • Oral B Advantage Arctica or 1-2-3 toothbrush
  • Crest Glide Dental Floss ($1-off-1 coupon in 6/7 P&G)
  • Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste, 4.2 oz ($0.75-off-1 coming in 7/5 P&G)
  • Crest Whitening Toothpaste with Scope, 6.2 oz ($0.75-off-1 coming in 7/5 P&G)

Deal idea: buy 4 Dental Floss = $10, less $4 coupons.  Pay $6, get $3.  Bottom line: $3 for 4 flosses.

Aveeno Hair Care
Nourish Shampoo/Conditioner on sale for $6.49
Use the $2-off-1 coupon (from 5/31 Red Plum)
Receive a $1.50 Register Rewards*
Bottom line: $2.99

Cookies/Crackers Register Rewards Deal
Buy 4 for $10, get a $5 Register Rewards*.  Participating products:

  • Cheez-it, 7.5 or 9 oz.
  • Keebler Cookies or Crackers, 11.5 or 16 oz. (pictured: Sandies, Fudge Shop, Club Crackers): ($1-off-2 printable for the Fudge Shop

Deal idea: buy 4 Fudge Shop = 4 less (2) $1-off-2 printables (above).  Pay $8, get $5.  Bottom line: $3 for 4 packages ($0.75 each)

Walgreens Diapers or Training Pants
On sale for $5.99 this week (regularly $8.99)

Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream
Buy one at $4.79, get one free
Use this $1-off-2 printable
Bottom line: $3.79 for 2 ($1.90 each)

*Register Rewards are coupons that print out after your payment has been processed at checkout.  In general, only ONE will print per deal, per transaction.  (So don't expect to buy 10 toothpastes and get 10 Register Rewards.)  These are good on virtually ANY item in the store (read the fine print for the few exclusions).  You can also turn around and use these immediately.  Do remember, however, that per Walgreens policy, you must have at least as many item as manufactures coupons, and Register Rewards fall into this category.  If you have more items than coupons, simply throw in a cheap "filler item" to ensure your transaction processes.  Also note that these generally have an expiration date of about two weeks out, so pay attention!

Walgreens' Register Rewards do not "roll."  For those of you unfamiliar with Couponese, that means you cannot use your Register Rewards on the same deal in order to receive another Register Rewards coupon.  However, you may apply a Register Rewards from one deal and use it on another.

I went through the 6/21 SS…didn’t see a Ben and Jerry’s in mine…but I DID find a $2 Starbucks one! I updated that deal above.
