Sample Shopping Trip

Here’s an idea of how you could work a great deal by combining store sales, rebates, and coupons. To put this together, I looked at the above list and found the items that interested me. Then, I worked to get it just over $25 so I could use my $5-off-$25 coupon. See what I’ve done, and then see if you can’t put together a deal of your own with items you use.

First, buy the following:
Vaseline Sheer Infusion $4.99
(2) GE Light Bulbs $2
Huggies Pure & Natural $9.99
Finesse Shampoo $2.99
St. Ives $3.99
(2) Reese’s 8-pack $1.76
Subtotal: $25.72

Then, use the following coupons:
$1/1 Vaseline
$3/1 Pure & Natural
$1/1 Finesse
$1/1 St. Ives
(2) $0.55/1 Reese’s
$5-off-$25 Rite Aid
And pay: $13.62

Go home and submit for the following rebates:
$4 Vaseline (Rite Aid)
$2 GE Bulbs (Rite Aid)
$3 Huggies (Rite Aid)
$3 St. Ives (Rite Aid)
$2 Finesse (Manufacturer)
$0.75 Huggies (Caregivers)

Bottom line: ($1.13) for everything!

About Rite Aid Rebates

If you’ve never used Rite Aid’s rebate program before, you’ll be glad to know it’s easy.  Start by creating an online account here.  Then, come back and simply enter a few pieces of info from your receipts.  At the end of the monthly rebate cycle, submit for your check and viola!  you’re done.  Of course, you could do it the old fashioned way by circling items on receipts and mailing them all in…but why would you?

Don't miss another deal! Get a consolidated daily deals email or subscribe to my feed.
