Filler Item Ideas

As a reminder, you must have at least as many items in your transaction as manufacturer's coupons. Register Rewards are treated as manufacturer's coupons, too. So if you are planning on buying 4 items with 4 manufacturer's coupons and a Register Reward, you'll be out of balance. To remedy this, select another item – ANY item to add to your order. Below are some of my ideas for low-cost ways to make your transactions work. Oh and Walgreens coupons aren't factored into the equation – so fill free to use 'em!

Nestle candy bars $0.50 each with in-ad coupon (limit 6)
Royal Gelatin $0.20 each wtih in-ad coupon (limit 5)
Act II Popcorn $0.20 per bag with in-ad coupon (limit 8)
I would also be on the lookout for heavily discounted Halloween items – especially as we approach the end of the week!

Getting Started

All this Walgreens' stuff have you confused? You might be interested to read a series of posts on Register Rewards I recently had the privelage of writing for Steals and Deals.
