off the cheese subject – i bought healthy choice meals w/the ecoupon and mc and it worked great. when i looked at my fred meyer ecoupons today to make sure the brawny towels were loaded it said that my healthy choice ecoupon was both active and redeemed. has anybody tried this deal twice?

So sorry to hear about all your problems. I had no problems at the Sumner WA store on Sunday and the guys working back by the cheese told me the 8oz would work with the store coupon as well and it did! I got the Mexi, sharp cheddar, Italian, etc. Even got all my Catalinas. Oh, and as I was getting my cheese off the hooks I told 2 other shoppers about the buy 5 and get the $5 Catalina (25 cents each) and they got all excited and popped 5 into their carts:-)

One of the cashiers told me they hadn’t entered the new add coupons/sales for grocery items and that they were working on fixing it. She did have to ring all mine up at the coupon price manually but I didn’t have any issues with the different varieties – maybe just varies by the cashier….

Hi all! I just got back from the store and I did have problems with the store coupon. It wouldn’t work for ANY of the Kraft I’d brought up to the counter. It was VERY poorly written…it mentioned a couple varieties and then said “and other select varieties” without listing them.

Anyhow, I went back and grabbed some different varieties – this time plain old mild cheddar and mozzarella…and it STILL didn’t take! By then, the cashier realized there was a problem with the coupon and she was able to manually enter the $1.25 Kraft. In spite of this, I still got my $5 Catalina.

My advice: if you are doing this deal, be warned that the coupon might not be working. Be polite and ask the cashier/customer service what it is you need to do. Understand that they will likely be frustrated over this issue today. Just be patient and courteous and it should work out.

Forgot to add that all of the bags were 7 oz – different varieties…

I did 5 different transactions at two different stores – 5 bags in each transactionon and bought several different varieties – they did it no problems. Also, got the cat on each transaction.

My store would only honor the cheese coupon for the 7 oz. low fat variety kraft cheese. If you look at the Fred Meyer coupon, it does say 7 oz. and the picture shows the lowfat variety. The regular style ones are 8 oz. On top of that, I did not get a Catalina.
