Albertsons deals 2/10 – 2/16

Albies

The good new is there are three doubler coupons in this week's ad! The bad news? The ad is rather…dull. However, there are still a few freebies and deals to be had and you might find the trip worthwhile.

What's a doubler coupon? For those just joining us, be sure to pull out the Albertsons ad (or if you're like me and don't get one, just pick one up at Customer Service at the store). Attached you'll find three store coupons that read "Double the Value!" on the top. You can use these coupons in conjunction with any manufacturer's coupons you have to double your value! A couple stipulations: the coupon must be $1 or less, and it can't read "DO NOT DOUBLE" on it. So if you have a $1 off toothpaste coupon, present it to the cashier WITH the doubler coupon and viola! You will save $2. These coupons can almost ALWAYS yield you something for free!

Kellogg's Cereal $1.88
(select varieties, 12 – 20 oz)
$1/1 – $2/2 printable coupons
Bottom line: as low as $0.88 each
If doubled: as low as free (you could only double the $1/1 one though)

But wait!! There is a Catalina deal running from 2/10 – 3/10, too!
Buy 3 boxes, get $1 off-your-next-order
Buy 4 boxes, get $3 off-your-next-order
Buy 5 boxes, get $4 off-your-next-order

Participating brands are 10 oz and larger sizes of: Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Cocoa Krispies, and Honey Smacks

Deal idea (based on above coupons)
Buy 4 boxes of any of the participating Catalina brands noted
Use (2) $1.50/2 printable coupons
Receive your $3 off-your-next-order coupon at checkout
Bottom line: $0.38 per box

I read a post from fistful and she talked to the manager in our area stores and they said we could double the ones that say DND I have also asked and they said yes. Isn’t it albertons that is just choosing to double it or am I misunderstanding this?

Yes, Amber, you are correct. The store is taking the loss on the doubler coupons.

However, it was recently brought to my attention that there was a policy change and they’d no longer accept ones that read that.

Moral of the story hear? Just ask your store – yours may well take them. Just make sure you’ve got the “green light” first. Thanks, Amber!

Rebecca- I did that Angel Soft doubler last night. I get so excited at things I used to buy at full price because I waited until I was out to buy it. I internally jump up and down when I buy 12 rolls of toilet paper for $3, $2 for razors, $1 for deodorant, FREE yogurt, etc.

Yes, thanks Rebecca – I noted that deal on a follow-up post and I did it myself!

Anyone notice their receipt? Mine said that the reg. price of the toilet paper was $10.89!!!!!!!!! No way, common’, you’re joking right?! I’m beginning to think Albertsons is doing this to inflate “amount saved” on your receipt. ANYWAYS, $2.99 is fabulous!! I hope to get some more before the week is out.

My store wouldn’t double the DanActive DND coupon. Sad day. :(
