Here's what I ended up with for $9.56 (and one shirt accidentally didn't make its way into the photo):
So let me tell you a little about my trip. It. was. CRAZY!
The sale actually takes place next to the store, in an unmarked retail space. The windows are all clouded so no one walking on the sidewalk out front would be any the wiser about the chaotic operation that's happening inside.
I walk in, grab a garbage bag to fill with goodies, and proceed to the tables. These tables are FILLED completely with clothes…and there are women (yes, nary a man at the table that I saw) crowded around these tables DIGGING through the clothes. I had to really weasle my way in there…but once I did…it was actually quite fun!! Some people were perhaps a little pushy or fussy, and I did get smacked in the face with a flying onesie at one point, but most of the ladies were in good spirits and I laughed with several of them. (You MUST have a sense of humor to do this sale or you will go nuts!) One gal kept insisting she didn't see anything she liked, and I even tried to help her locate items for her unborn baby, but gave up after she kept sneering at everything. Whatever! If you have picky taste, I suppose this isn't your sale.
At the end of it, I was exhausted – but I'd end up with a huge bag full of items (35 to be exact) for my kids! It was worth it. I hop in my car and it reads 11:30. HOLY COW! Had I just been sucked in a black hole for an hour and a half? I had no idea I'd been in there that long!
Thinking about doing this sale next month? Here are my best tips:
1. Get there on Friday. Early. Don't wait until Saturday! Get their early, but be prepared to deal with the crowds.
2. Hang out awhile. Every so often, they will dump out MORE bags of clothes on the table!! Wait and you might be rewarded.
3. Leave the kids at home or with a sitter. This place is um…not the cleanest and there is a lot of commotion. I'm glad I left the kids at home! I saw some moms struggling with their little ones.
4. Be patient and come in good spirits. This is NOT the sale to go to in a bad or frustrated mood! Realize it's going to be crazy and prepare yourself ahead of time. Remember to take a few deep breaths!
5. Bring cash. The sale room can ONLY take cash. If you end up needing to pay by debit/credit card or check, they'll send you next door to the store to pay and then come back. Depending on how busy they are, you might have to do some more waiting if you can't pay with cash.
So what am I doing right now? Well, washing all those clothes of course! And then maybe organizing my kids' closets. Maybe. Unless the day turns out as sunny as I'm hoping it will be and then I'll make a good excuse to do something else.

Sounds crazy! Do they at least organize by size and gender? Or literally throw it on a table? Are they getting rid of the clothes that just don’t sell in their store? Are they brand names and current styles? Sorry for all the questions
Just want to make sure it’s worth the drive if I decide to go next time!!
NO organization!! It’s crazy. On any given table you might find: a newborn onesie, pants for a 7-yr old girl, a top for an 18 mo old boy, and a nursing bra. FUN!
Oh my! They are just asking for grumpy customers
haha! I just checked out their website. I’m a loyal shopper at Heaven Sent and have yet to find a better one than them.
It always seems to take me about 1.5 hrs to go though the whole place.. but its worth it! oh and Good news about the Debit cards, they have opened up the door in the middle of the room that attaches to next door, so we dont have to leave any more!
Glad you had a Fun expirence!!
That’s a great development!! I would LOVE to go tomorrow, but we’re headed to the fair.
…There is always Saturday!
