Great deodorant printable coupons + Safeway deal on Suave!

Dontfret

Reader Danna just emailed me a great tip I wanted to share with you!

First, you'll want to go HERE and print off the $3/2 Suave deodorant coupon. (By the way, I was completely unaware of this site – there are several other high-value printable coupons for other deodorant brands you'll want to check out – including Dove and Degree.)

Danna found the Suave 2-pack on sale at her Safeway (in Maple Valley, WA) for just $3.29. She was able to use her $3/2 coupon and pay just $0.29 for both deodorants – works out to just under $0.15 apiece.

Incidentally, what do you think is a deal-worthy price for deodorant? You can occasionally get it for free by pairing store sales with coupons, but I'd say anything under $0.50 is deal-worthy and anything under $0.25 is stock-up worthy. I generally like to have about 2-3 on hand in my stock – much more than that becomes clutter. Thoughts?

Anything under a dollar is good with me. My husband goes through deodorant like I go through candy so I stock up ANY chance I get – I start getting nervous for the next deal when I have 3 or 4 left! :)

Thanks for the tip! That’s my Safeway too! I was wondering if it would work to use the coupon on the two pack, but I was too chicken to try and I didn’t really NEED anymore deodorant. Thanks for being brave Danna!

I agree with your price points. I try for free, but will usually pick some up if its under $ .50 and I don’t have enough saved up. I however need a little larger stock than 2 or 3, with 2 adults an 3 teen boys using deodorant, we go through it fairly quickly.

Also, the individual sticks of Sauve Deodorant are $1.25 when you buy four or more. Using the $1.25/1 coupons available on dontfretthesweat.com, I scored four free deodorants. I suppose you could also use the $3.00/2 coupons and make some money off of it, but I was too chicken to try.

I always get it when it’s free or up to $.50 so I can donate it to the local women’s shelter.
