I worked at Starbucks for a long time, and “hand-crafted” refers to a drink made by a barista on the espresso bar. It usually does not include cold bar items such as Frappuccinos and iced teas or Hot coffee or Hot tea. It can be up to the store manager or district manager, but sometimes they (corprate) specify which drinks must be ordered. I don’t work at Starbucks anymore, but the way the advertisment is worded makes me think that they want people to try hot morning espresso beverages before the Frappuccino push of the summer begin.
