Top Foods: Tillamook butter for $0.99 Thurs – Sat

TillamookButter

Amber over at Coupon Connections NW emailed me this morning to tell me that on a special Easter 3-day sale, Top Foods will be offering Tillamook butter for just $0.99! This deal will only be good Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Please note, however, there is a limit of 1 on this item. I also noticed on her list that Tillamook 2lb cheese is just $4.99. Not bad at all!

Be sure to see her line up of other great deals at Top Foods! Thanks, Amber!

I was at Top Foods today, and there is a limit of 2 on the Tillamook butter, and one on the cheese.

Hi, Angela
My husband and I are moving to the Seattle area next month. I loved couponing in our last town, but I’m nervous about new stores and their coupon policies and friendliness. Do you have any suggestions for a newbie to the area?

I have found most stores out here are great! My biggest advice when you get here is test the waters. Try out a few different stores, head to checkout the friendliest way you know how, and see which stores are happiest to work with you. In my area, I have a QFC that when I went to checkout the other day, the cashier said, “do you have any coupons?” and when I said, “yes,” he said “AWESOME!” That’s the sort of stuff I watch for.

If you wanted to take it a step further, you could even contact the mgrs of stores in our area and say, “I’m a heavy/avid coupon user, and I’m new to the area. Is yours a good store to come to? Do you have any advice for me?” I’ve never personally gone that route, but I know some have. I find in most cases it’s best to NOT fly under the radar, but to be open and friendly in working with your local stores. I have found more often than not, the stores in my area are happy to work with me because I use coupons according to their policies.

May I ask where you are moving from – somewhere in WA or a different state altogether???
