Because the coupon value exceeds the item value by a penny, I'd make sure to throw in at least one small "filler" item to make this transaction work. OR, you could simply add one of these Safeway deals to your order.

Just a warning but I tried this deal yesterday and the e-coupon for Lipton did not come off. I had other e-coupons that came off for my other items, but for some reason the Lipton tea didn’t come off. Has this worked for anyone? Maybe it was because I bought the lemon kind?
I couldn’t even find the Lipton tea that only costs $0.99, so didn’t try. Did I miss something?
