I have two very picky eaters in my house and I SOOO hope I'll be sharing something similar later this summer! I really want to develop not just a tolerance for healthy food in my house...but a LOVE of it. Thanks, Julie!

Whoops...I mean to add that I think it's a great thing to do for your family, and I hope you find it to be as enjoyable and fulfilling as we have.

We've had a garden since my first son was just a year old (now he's 5), and one of my very favorite memories of his life is when, back in that first garden, he yanked on some leaves and up came a radish. At first, his face was so surprised. Then he smiled and held it up so triumphantly. We just washed the dirt off with the hose, and he ate it right there...and promptly went looking for more. To this day, it is a major feat if I can get radishes, cherry tomatoes, or fresh peas into the house. We all just stand out in the garden and eat them.
