$0.29 tacos at Del Taco tomorrow

UPDATE: I just heard from Thrifty NW Mom. Del Taco contacted her to let her know this deal is ONLY good at select Midwest Stores and in Arizona. I sure wish companies would do a better job of indicating these things in the ad’s fine print! So sorry!!

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo tomorrow, Del Taco restaurants will be offering $0.29 tacos from  3-9 p.m.! There is a limit of 12 tacos (good night, please share if you’re going to order that many!). For details on this offer, and to find a location near you, go HERE.

As always, I highly recommend you call your store ahead of time to make sure they are in fact participating. On the original ad the fine print reads “price and participation may vary” which means I’m calling first!

Anyone think I’d have luck trying to freeze these? (Just kidding.)

You might also want to “like” Del Taco on Facebook. If you do, you’ll be able to print a coupon good for a free chicken soft taco with any Del Taco purchase. (Hmmm…is anyone thinking what I’m thinking?)

Thanks, Thrifty NW Mom!

Federal Way is not participating and Puyallup is calling for verification…It would be so nice to have cheap dinner out today!

Unfortunately, no NW stores are participating!! I just found this out this morning. I wouldn’t have posted the deal if that had been made clear in the ad’s fine print. So sorry!!

We went expecting a great cinco de mayo dinner out tonight, and the Federal Way store had said that someone had hacked into their facebook page and really there wasn’t too much of a fine print you missed. But the guy was great and gave us some great coupons to come back and enjoy some b1g1 tacos.

Oh Lani, I’m so sorry.

Based on my emails with Thrifty NW Mom, no one “Hacked” them. It was an email THEY sent out to a number of customers on their email list. It’s a personal pet peeve of mine when a company puts forth a poorly executed promotion – such as this – and then turns around and claims they’ve been “hacked.” No – YOU sent the email out. And guess what? You should have put some information in your fine print. And guess what? There are websites out there like mine that love to share great deals! Learn how this works, design a promotion that works, or don’t…but whatever you do understand if YOU put it out there, you’ve not been hacked.

Stepping off soapbox…
