Albertsons deals 5/12 – 5/18

Yesterday turned out to be crazier than expected and I fell into bed past midnight exhausted! But I wouldn’t leave you high and dry and no Albertsons deals!

I should mention that the Milton store is having a grand re-opening sale tomorrow (Friday) and  Saturday only. The ad states that there will be deals in every department. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but if you have time and interest, you might want to grab your coupon binder (or in my case, binders) and head on over. The first few deals are apparently from the Milton-only ad. Otherwise, a pretty light week. Might be some deals if we get doublers though.

There is also a Betty Crocker promotion this week – spend $20, get $5 back. However, the fine print reads that your $20 is calculated AFTER all manufacturers’ coupons. This would mean that if you wanted to use $5 in coupons, you’d have to spend $25. I’ve seen better Betty Crocker promotions in my couponing days, and I’d prefer to not waste my time sharing about a promotion that isn’t deserving of your time or coupons.

If there are doublers, I’ll let you know! For more Albertsons deals, or to find grocery deals at stores in your area, check out The Grocery Gathering!

Fabulessly Frugal reported that she confirmed that the Betty Crocker deal was tried with $20 before coupons and the catalina still printed ($20 – $11 in coupons and still got the catalina). Anyway, she also said YMMV… and if you didn’t get it, it’d be hard to complain. But, for what it’s worth…. some people may be willing to try.
