Albertsons deals 5/5 – 5/11

Looks like a pretty light week at Albertsons. Here are the best deals I could find for you. No word yet on doubler coupons – but I’m going to go ahead and give you my best ideas just in case! Honestly? I’d wait to see if we get any. I can hardly justify a trip out without ‘em this week.

Boneless, skinless chicken breast or tenders (butcher’s block)
$1.99/lb

Kellogg’s Deal
Buy (5) participating Kelloggs products for $10 total, get $4 on your next order!
$1/2 ANY Kellogg’s cereals printable coupon
MORE Kellogg’s printable coupons
Bottom line: $0.80 each if you use 2 coupons and after Catalina
(If doubled: $0.40 each)

Coffee-Mate Flavored Creamer $1
$0.75/1 printable coupon (thanks, Fabulessly Frugal!)
OR $0.50/1 coupon from 5/2 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.25 – $0.50
(If doubled: FREE!)

Albertsons Butter
$1.79 (limit 2)

Fresh Express Salads
$1.88 each with in-ad coupon (limit 4)
Stack with $0.55/1 tearpad coupon (I’ve not seen these; have you? If so…share!)
Bottom line: $1.33 each (if you can find those tearpad coupons!)

Fresh Baked Cinnamon Rolls
$0.99 each with in-ad coupon (limit 4)

Hot or Lean Pockets $1.67
$1/3 coupon from 4/25 Red Plum
Bottom line: $1.33 each
(If doubled: $1 each)

Capri Sun $2
$1/1 Sunrise coupon from 4/25 SmartSource (I believe this was in the Seattle paper; regional coupon)
Bottom line: $1
(If doubled: FREE)
AND, when you buy 3 in a single transaction, you’ll get 2 free one-night Redbox movie rentals! (Coupon prints at checkout)

Freschetta Pizza (select varieties) $4.99
$1.25/1 coupon from 3/7 SmartSource
Bottom line: $3.74

Birds Eye Steamfresh Vegetables or Rice $1.50
$0.50/1 coupon from 5/2 SmartSource
Bottom line: $1
(If doubled: $0.50)

Kozy Shack Pudding $2.50
$1/1 Simplywell variety coupon from 3/14 SmartSource (I’m unsure if this variety is included in the sale)
Bottom line: $1.50
(If doubled: $0.50)

Yoplait Greek Yogurt $1
$0.30/1 coupon from 3/28 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.70
(If doubled: $0.40)

Duncan Hines Cake Mix $1
$0.55/2 coupon from 3/28 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.73 each
(If doubled: $0.45 each)

Kix Cereal $2.99
$1/1 printable coupon (thanks, Queen Bee Coupons!)
Bottom line: $1.99
(If doubled: $0.99)
(Note: I would ONLY use this with a doubler. $1.99 for cereal is not a deal in my opinion. Also, the coupon reads “do not double.” Because the store is taking the discount and not the manufacturer, they may opt to double it anyways. Check with your local store’s manager or call Customer Service FIRST.)

Pirate’s Booty $2.50
$1/2 coupon from Fred Meyer’s Naturally Preferred Magazine (May)
Bottom line: $2 each
(If doubled: $1.50 each)

Pert Plus $2
$1 and $1.50/1 coupons from 5/2 SmartSource
Bottom line: $0.50 – $1
(If the $1/1 coupon is doubled: FREE!)

Ice Cream Promo

Spend $12 in participating products, get a $4 off-your-next order Catalina coupon – essentially a 33% discount. While these may seem like decent deals, you bet I’d wait to see if we get doubler coupons before proceeding!!

Dibbs 140-ct $3.99
$1/1 coupon from 5/2 SmartSource
Receive your Catalina coupon (like getting 33% off)
Bottom line: $1.67
(If doubled: $0.67)

Nestle Drumstick $2.99
$1/1 coupon from 5/2 SmartSource (like getting 33% off)
Bottom line: $1
(If doubled: FREE)

Unilever Promotion

When you spend $20 on participating products, you’ll receive a $5 off-your-next-order Catalina coupon, which is like saving 25%. But honestly? The deals and matchups for the vast majority of these products are underwhelming. Here are the three that made my list – and even still, I think these deals could be out-done. Just remember, you’d need to buy $20 worth of products to get this deal to work. Remember that coupons only $1 or less can be doubled, so none of the coupon matchups below would be eligible for doubling.

Degree Deodorant $2.50
$1.25/1 printable coupon (or FF version)
Receive your Catalina coupon (like getting 25% off)
Bottom line: $0.63

Vasline Intensive Care Lotion $2.50
$1.25/1 coupon from 4/11 Red Plum
Receive your Catalina coupon (like getting 25% off)
Bottom line: $0.63

Slimfast $4.98
$1.75/1 Ready-to-Drink Shakes coupon from 4/11 Red Plum
$1.25/1 Meal Bars coupon from 4/11 Red Plum
Receive your Catalina coupon (like getting 25% off)
Bottom line: $1.98 – $2.49

My Albie’s had tear pads in front of the Yoplait greek yogurt for $1/2, which makes them 50cents or free if we get doubles, which is ok for greek yogurt…hopefully other locations have the same coupon pads too :)
