For fun, I thought I’d show you what I’m giving away tomorrow and tell you how much I paid for it.
Here’s the breakdown (to the best of my memory!)
Post Raisin Bran: free with sale and coupon
BBQ Sauce: free with sale and Catalina (3)
Mission Tortillas: $0.04 each with store and tearpad coupons (2)
StarKist Tuna: $0.05 each with sale, tearpad coupon, and Catalina (7)
Stove Top Stuffing: ~$0.50 each with sale and tearpad coupon
Zatarain Rice: ~$0.25 each with sale, coupon, and Catalina
Total for everything pictured: $2.68.
Not bad for a bag full of food, eh?
Let’s have fun with this, shall we? Email me a picture with your goodies with an approximate price breakdown (thecouponproject at hotmail dot com). I’ll then share them in an upcoming post.
Please read my post HERE to learn more about how “Stamp out Hunger” will work tomorrow. And do read one of the comments – apparently personal care items ARE being accepted!

I’m new and wondering what the Catalina is/are that you mention today.
This is a great opportunity for us couponers to help out the less fortunate. On my tight budget I find that donating food is one of the best ways I can help out others. I was thinking about the tortillas though, would those be considered perishable? Thanks for spreading the word!
