$25 Restaurant.com gift certificates on sales for $2!

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 300 x 250

From now through the 24th, you can score $25 Restaurant.com gift certificates for just $2 when you use coupon code SUMMER at checkout.

what are these? how do they work?

Simply enter your zip code to see what restaurants participate in your area. Add the gift certificates to your shopping cart. When you checkout, type in code SUMMER and you’ll see the 80% off reduction! Once you’ve paid for them, you’ll get them via email – they’re ready to use right away.

how come i’ve not heard of some of these restaurants?

Many of the restaurants that choose to participate are smaller and/or family owned. They’re willing to give you a great discount in exchange for trying them out. It’s a win-win!

what’s the catch? are there restrictions i should know about?

There certainly ARE limitations to these. I HIGHLY advise you to read the fine print and FAQ over at Restaurant.com before you buy 100 of these. It’s important to note that a 18% gratuity will be added to your bill, and that your certificate can’t go towards the purchase of alcohol. It’s also important to understand that if you buy a $25 certificate, a minimum purchase of $35 is required. You should also note that only ONE certificate can be used per meal (no stacking). I prefer to think of these as really hot coupons, and less like true gift certificates. If you have that understanding, they make better sense.

what do you recommend for someone new to restaurant.com?

If you’ve never tried one of these, I HIGHLY recommend you buy only ONE. Pick a restaurant you know and love and spend the $2. See how it works, see how much you save (should be at least $23 for a $25 gift certificate)! If you love it, just wait for the next sale – these come around every so often.

Go HERE to get started!

I’ve personally used these and love them! I think they are a great way to support local businesses and save while dining out! This sale is good through 6/24.
