UPDATE: There was some discussion about this on my Facebook page, but you will NOT get the rebate if you use a gift card according to at least two other deal blogs. Please be warned. Some people have mentioned doing a CVS deal this week to get a Sears card. Be warned!
If you follow me on Facebook, you probably noticed I thought last Sunday was Father’s Day. Let’s say it turned into a rather interesting moment at church when I enthusiastically wished my friend Eric a “Happy Father’s Day!”
The REAL Father’s Day is this Sunday and if you’re without a gift or two, consider Sears’ promotion: when you spend $50 on men’s apparel, you can submit in for a rebate to receive a coupon good for $50 in men’s apparel! Basically, you’d get $100 worth of men’s clothing for $50…or 50% off. Make sense? If you’re still scratching your head, you might want to read this.
There’s a mail-in rebate form OR you can submit it online. I’ve never filled out a rebate for Sears, so I highly advise you to scour that fine print before making any purchase!
If you choose to make your qualifying purchases online, you might want to initiate your transaction at Shop at Home where you’ll earn an additional 5% cash back. (See more on how Shop at Home works.)
Thanks, Laura!

I did the deal with Sears last year and everything went through great.
It was spend $100 on dockers items get a $75 gas card.
If you also want to purchase $50 in Sears gift cards from CVS before you actually do the shopping, you’ll also get $10 in Extra Care Bucks reducing your OOP to just $40! (I’m using some saved up ECB’s to buy the cards as well so am hoping it will be just $29 OOP for me!)
NO!! Don’t do this!! I need to update my post, but there was a discussion on my FB page (thanks to my readers there) that you will NOT get the rebate if you use a gift card!!
