Yesterday turned out to be one of those days I felt I needed to spend away from the computer. So I went with that, and enjoyed most of my day out in my garden outdoors and with my wonderful family. Hence, your Walgreens deals are a day late.
Check your store for a June Coupon Booklet. These are often kept in the rack with the ads and also on endcaps throughout the store.
I also want to direct you to page 10 of this week’s ad. The headline at the top reads “Use your P&G Brandsaver Coupon with these Offers.” Besides the headline having a glaring typo (it should read “coupons”), the ad is clearly encouraging you to use your Sunday insert coupons with Walgreens coupons, Register Reward deals, and sales. Some of you have mentioned you’ve had problems lately in getting your stores to stack coupons. You might keep that page handy with you while heading to checkout.

favorite filler item ideas
As a reminder, you must have at least as many items in a given transaction as the number of manufacturer coupons you’re presenting. And it’s important to note that your Register Rewards are treated as manufacturers’ coupons. So if you head to check out with one item, a coupon and a Register Reward, the register won’t accept both. How to remedy this? Simply buy a small “filler item” to balance your transaction. Again…make sure you at least have as many items as manufacturers’ coupons. Store coupons thankfully do NOT count!
Best bets for this week:
Candy $0.39
Ravina Knee His $0.25 each with in-ad coupon (limit ![]()
Look for small garden-related items (seeds, maybe?)
Look for small food items – I like the instant coffee packets – the Royal Gelatin also works
Looks for single pencils & cheap stationery items
Look for Walgreens water bottles priced at $0.49! My store had these near the diabetic section (towards the pharmacy). They were on a shelf and filled with first aid items.

Need some help making sense of all this Register Reward stuff? I’ve written quite a bit on the topic HERE, HERE, and HERE.
