That was a very helpful webcast.
I wish I would have seen that when I first started serioulsy using coupons. I never paid too much attention to the fine print and ended up not getting to use the coupon or I would miss out on the catalinas. One time I bought five boxes of cereal just to get the catalina and then realized when I got home that I did not get the catalina nor the special price. Now I have an estimated total and the amount of catalinas written on the grocery list. Another big mistake I made in the begining was to try and do too many deals in one trip, I had a hard time keeping track of the coupons, now they are clipped to the list.
The thing that throws me is Rite Aid. They have these coupons in their flyer that say “Manufacturers Coupon” although they do not have a regular bar code, it looks like a Rite Aid code. Can you stack these?
Yes, you absolutely can stack those. Rite Aid ads frequently even SHOW you that you can stack them by telling you to use them with Sunday paper coupons. I wish they wouldn’t read manufacturer’s coupons at the top. Do you really think you could get say, Safeway, to redeem one of those? I think not. They’re intended for Rite Aid use.
