Some of you have been asking questions about the UP Rewards at Rite Aid…and I have a few questions of my own!
So I very politely have been hounding asking my contact over at Rite Aid (he’s a PR rep) for some answers. Apparently, I’m not the only one. The man has been inundated with bloggers with questions such as…
Can you use multiple UP Rewards in a transaction?
Are UP Rewards like manufacturers coupons?
Are UP Rewards going to replace Rite Aid’s rebate program?
I received an email from him today saying that there’s now some very basic information up on their website HERE. I found the information to be what I already knew, and I’m sure it won’t be new news to you either. That being said, he assured me he’s working on an FAQ about the UP Rewards based on questions I and other bloggers have passed on to him (and many of these questions I’ve compiled from you). This should be up sometime in early August.
I thought I’d let you know what’s been going on in case you’ve been scratching your head about the program.

Beware… once I tried to use a $10 UP reward coupon and the computer wouldn’t take it… I’d calculated wrong and although my total was over $10, part of it was tax. The cashier gave me the coupon back to use later… so I tried to use it yesterday… it wouldn’t work! It said I had already used it! Yikes! Luckily the cashier believed because she’d had the same thing happen to someone she knew…
I tried to use multiple up rewards on my purchase this evening and the cashier would only allow me to use one. She said only one could be used per purchase. It says on the receipt “good on 1 purchase”, not “1 reward to be used per purchase”… I think she was wrong and I am going to call Rite Aid corporate tomorrow.
