Late night at Albertsons

I decided to do a late night trip at Albertsons last night. I threw Fred Meyer into the mix just to keep things spicy. Here’s how I made out.

First, here’s my Albertsons haul:

The first Albertsons I went to was almost out of Betty Crocker cake mix. They said they were getting more stock in tomorrow (today), but I didn’t want to drive out a second day so I ended up visiting the other Albertsons in my area. It made for a late night – but hey! they had the cake.

It’s always fun going through the checkout when the employees start paying attention to your deals. I think some of the cashiers were going to head back for the cake deal after they clocked out!

At Fred Meyer, I spent an additional $14.29 on basics such as toilet paper, Annie’s Macaroni and Cheese, cheap Muir Glen, and Gatorade (I’ve got a LOOOONNNGGG training run to do this week – 18 miles!!). You might also notice I have YoToddler and Oikos yogurt. These were free – because I’m gearing up to do a review and giveaway (so stay tuned!!). According to my receipt, coupons saved me $7.18 at Fred Meyer. What I saved in terms of shopping sales there isn’t reflected on the receipt.

All told, I spent $30.54 for everything pictured above.
