I’m so excited the Weekly Cinema offer I posted recently is back! I had just shared this deal and a number of you were interested, and boom, the offer came down. Well…it’s here again!
The way Weekly Cinema works is fairly simple. Each month, you pay $19.99. This will get you four tickets plus a bonus free fifth ticket to use every month. You can then redeem these via Fandango for the movie(s) of your choice. From what I understand, there is NO extra charge when you go to redeem for Fandango tickets. Over 16,000 theaters nationwide currently accept Fandango, which means there’s likely to be one in your neck of the woods.
According to the FAQ, each of the tickets you buy through Weekly Cinema can be redeemed for Fandango tickets valued up to $14 apiece! Five tickets at $14 apiece is $70…so if you normally spend this kind of money at the movie theater, you might want to check out this program.
You can cancel your membership at any time with no cancellation fees, and the contact information to do was readily available on the site.
This is an offer I actually signed up for myself last week. We rarely to never go to the movies in my household, and I’m thinking this might be a good way to enjoy a special night out for cheap. There was a $0.15 fee for the first free ticket, and then a second charge for my first 4 tickets a few days later. I can redeem them whenever I’m ready to use them! This seems to be cheaper than using Costco for their discounted movie tickets, and even cheaper than heading to the matinee!
Are any of you currently using Weekly Cinema? What has your experience been?
