Work-at-home feature: Pampered Chef

What I Do: Pampered Chef Consultant

For How Long: 8 months

How Many Hours Per Week: Varies…….shows take about 2-2 ½ hrs

Income Earned: My daughter attends a private university and my extra income from Pampered Chef makes this possible!

How and why did you start your work-at-home position?
I wanted to be able to be my own boss and make my own hours.  I also wanted to have a business that helped other people…..The Pampered Chef allows me to do all this and more.

What exactly do you do in this position?
As an Independent Consultant, I teach others how to make their time in the kitchen easier and much more enjoyable.  With the economy in the shape that it’s in, it makes more sense to eat at home.  My goal is to bring people back to the kitchen which brings families back to the table.

What do you need to get started?
We offer two start up fees: $155 and $80. Most consultants earn this money back within two cooking shows!

What excites you about this position?
Helping other people find enjoyment in cooking!

What is challenging about this position?
Every challenge I’ve come up against has been easily fixed. We have great training and my director assists me whenever I need her.

What do you need to make it in this position?
Just the desire to make a difference in your life! And you never know who else you might make a difference for.
