Tonight’s recorded webcast: when is a deal a deal?

Thanks to everyone for hangin’ with me tonight!

The recorded video is just under half an hour. About halfway through the webcast I share a list of questions I think you should ask when considering if a deal is worth it. They are:

1. Do I need this?
2. Do I have the money? (aka Is it in the budget?)
3. Am I considering the “true cost” of this deal?
4. Is it worth my time?
5. Will this bring value to my life or clutter/stress?

I will have your October webcast schedule shortly! Stay tuned!

Enjoyed listening to your thoughts. Especially on budget and value. I am finding that if I don’t “chase” a freebie that I would have never purchased BC(before coupons) I don’t even remember that it was offered. Have you posted anything about how to keep track of your budget so that you don’t go over? We keep all our household expences in one account but it includes more than grocery/household essential and I don’t spread the $ between paychecks as well as I should. I would be interested in some motiviation in this area:) Thanks for your blog. I am especially appreciate your “bottom line” as you do your match up lists.
