Welcome to the new week of shopping at Rite Aid! This week kicks off the November Rebate Cycle and new Video Values coupons have just been released!
It appears we’ve seen the removal of the $5/$25 and $4/$20 bonus coupons. My contact tells me they “may” return at some point in the future. That sounds promising, huh? In the meantime, there are $1 off any 1 purchase coupons available on Video Values. You can basically use these on anything other than non-prescription items in the store.
If you are new to Rite Aid shopping? I highly recommend you to scroll to the bottom of this post FIRST.

rite aid help
New to shopping at Rite Aid? Glad to have you on board! I’m here to help! Here are a few things you should know about navigating the crazy awesome coolness that is Rite Aid.
1. Wellness Program. If you haven’t signed up for new loyalty card, go ahead and do so. You’ll be entitled to exclusive discounts plus you can rack up rewards – mostly savings on future purchases. Also, many of the sale prices and UP Reward deals require the use of a Wellness card.
2. Video Values. Watch short videos to earn Rite Aid coupons, including a $4-off-$20 purchase! (Use this coupon on top of hot rebate deals and sales for deep discounts.)
3. Rite Aid Rebates. Think rebates are a huge ol’ waste of time and postage? Think again! Rite Aid’s rebate program makes it quick and easy for you to get your cash back – you can do it without ever stamping an envelope, too. Create your free rebate account over HERE.
4. UP Rewards. These are coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt when you purchase participating products. I recently had a PR rep answer some of my (and YOUR) UP Rewards questions. See that post HERE. There are also general FAQs about how these work HERE. Last week, I submitted a second round of UP Rewards questions to my Rite Aid contact (in PR). I hope to have more information soon.
5. Coupon Acceptance. I think you’ll find Rite Aid to be one of THE most coupon friendly stores out there! Be sure to print and bring their corporate coupon policy with you.
Still Lost?
Maybe you’d prefer to have someone sit down with you and make sense of it all? Consider watching this recorded webcast I filmed a few weeks back calledDrugstore Shopping 101!
For additional Rite Aid and drugstore deals, be sure to stop by The Grocery Gathering.

I have 1 $5/25 purchase left that I earned and printed before they were pulled. I can still use that, right? I also have 1 from the PDF that was up a bit ago. Do you know if that one is ok to
use? Thanks!
If you printed it while it was up, I say go for it. If they decline you at the store, you’ll at least have a heads-up.
Is the AlkaSeltzer coupon available in the Tacoma News Tribune? It was not in the Red Plum this morning.
Seriously?! I’m sitting here with the TNT coupons I’m about to clip. I’ll be sad if it’s not in there! I’ll see what I can find out and let you know.
You’re right! It’s not in the TNT. Those that got the Seattle paper – did you get it? Sorry about this – I put this together last night going off the preview.
I got it in the Everett Herald, but not in the mail (I get redplum in the mail on Tuesdays with the circulars). I have 5 of them and most likely won’t use them…so I’d be happy to give them away! If you like, Angela, I can send them to you and you can do whatever you’d like with them!
That is very sweet & generous!! However, I know with my busy schedule this week I’m apt to not do a good job getting them directly in the hands of folks that can use them.
Would you be OK if I put up a FB announcement and have interested folks email you directly? Would you prefer they all go to ONE person vs. FIVE? Let me know and I’ll put something out today.
Yes, I’d prefer they go to one person. Go ahead and do a fb post! Thanks!
Sarah, I have a winner for you, but your email keeps bouncing back. Can you email me at thecouponproject at hotmail dot com so I can get you the name & address?
I still had one of the $5/25 PDFs that expire on 10/31, so I thought I’d give it a try, and the cashier was happy to push it through. So if you still have them around it’s worth a try!
Perfect!!! Thanks for sharing. Use ‘em while you can…
My parents are in MN and the alka seltzer coupon was in their Red Plum (it was not in the Seattle paper either.) They are shipping a couple copies out to me tomorrow.
I watched the new rite aid videos this morning and the $5/25 coupon is gone but I was still able to get the $4/20 for getting 20 video credits. I wonder if it’s a regional thing?
Nope, I bet it’s national. It’s showing up for me too. Sorry for the confusion – the list of coupons I rec’d from my contact didn’t include the $4/$20, so I was assuming it was a no-go!
So there’s an unexpected NICE surprise for us!
If I purchase 4 Nivea lotions that are on sale for $5.99, will I get 4 $5 UPS?
It’s hard to say!! I’m never sure what the limits are on these, because they are not stated. It is quite possible that *could* happen, but I can’t guarantee it. Can any of my readers confirm?
A couple awesome deals I got in on tonight:
The NYC cosmetics are FREE. The sale is buy one cosmetic and get one nail enamel free. ALL YOU online has $1/1 coupons and you can apply two to the BOGO to get these for free (there are some very nice lipsticks for just 1.99 each). You will then receive two $1 +UP rewards which you can roll onto the next transaction!
Also, they have Aveeno products for 5.99 so I applied the $4 Video Values coupon along with a $1.50 online printable; I paid .49 and received $1 +UP.
For those who were able to get their hands on the Alka Seltzer Plus Fast Packs $3 coupons (10/24 RP Regional) – this was a tremendous deal – but also hard to find as shelves have been cleared – If you can get 6 of these coupons you’d make a haul:
6 boxes of the fast packs come to $30
Apply the six $3-off coupons and the current Video Value ($1) coupon
Apply the $5/$25 coupon (Red Plum had one online w/a 12/31 exp. date)
Apply $3 from the +UPs you would have earned by purchasing the NYC and Aveeno items above.
Pay $3
Receive $22 in +UP rewards!!! ($10 from the Bayer promo and $2 for each pkg. because these are printing in multiples!)
You can then take that $22 and apply it to the rockin candy deal!
