Hot diggity deals at QFC!

There are some smokin’ deals at QFC this week. As I suspected, we’re seeing the first of the Thanksgiving food items on sale.

These are excerpted from Queen Bee Coupon’s list. Please note that all of the following deals are part of a “Buy 10, Save $5 promotion,” so you will certainly want to keep your transaction in multiples of 10. Also note some of the coupons we’re anticipating getting this Sunday.

Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup $0.50
$1.50/3 printable coupon
Bottom line: ALL THREE FREE!

Imagine Organic Broth $1.49
$1/1 coupon from 10/17 SmartSource (thanks, Bethany!)
Bottom line: $0.49

Hormel Chili $0.50
$0.55/2 coupon from 11/7 SmartSource
$0.50/2 coupon from 9/12 SmartSource (Exp. 11/8!)
Bottom line: $0.23
(Most certainly a stock-up price for this item)

Del Monte Tomatoes $0.50
$1/5 coupon from 9/19 Red Plum
Bottom line: $0.30 each

Heinz Gravy $0.50
$1/3 printable coupon

As a reminder, this month I’m starting my Thanksgiving Plans early! The result should be money and time saved. Join me!

There was also the Imagine organic broth that is part of the deal. After the instant savings it is $1.49 and then there was a $1/1 coupon a couple of weeks back! I am so excited about this!

Nice! Thank you for sharing that!! I’ll go hunt for the coupon and add it to my post. $0.50 for organic broth is definitely, definitely stockpile worthy!

It looks like the gravy is actually .16 cents each? Woot! My Mom makes the BEST homemade gravy so we won’t need these…but I’m excited to put together a big box to donate to the food bank for thankgiving meals!

I ran in to QFC today and scored 3 cream of mushroom, 3 gravy, and 4 boxes of granola bars for $3! The turkey gravy has a coupon printed inside the jar for $1/2 so you can go back for more for FREE!

Is there a limit on how many items I can buy in the same transaction and still receive the $5 when you buy $10 discout? I would like to buy 60 items but want to make sure that $30 will be deducted. Also, are there any issues about using IPs at QFC? I’m nervous about my first trip there tomorrow!

I don’t know that there is a limit, but it is apparently working when you buy multiples of 10. Check out this trip Queen Bee Coupons did today!! http://queenbeecoupons.com/2010/11/qfc-my-trip-saved-spend-35-86-saved-172-18/

I’ve never had an issue with IPs there.

Too funny, I’m planning my trip right now too!!

for some of the items the smart source 11/7 was noted, was that in expectatation of that paper or is it a misprint?

Argh!!!!! I counted, I planned, I couponed and the checker missed one can of tomatoes thus costing me one of my $5 offs. I might go back to talk to them. :( in retrospect I should have followed my instincts to grab a couple extra cans of cranberry sauce.

QFC customer service to the rescue. I called to ask if it was too late to make it right since I left without resolving it on the spot and the guy on the phone said to come back in and ask for him and he’d fix things up. :) I called expecting to be shot down and I wasn’t going to be mad but I wanted to try just to put my mind at ease. I hope he follows through.

My experience with Customer Service and staff at my QFC has always been extremely positive. They were once able to correct something like this for me that I messed up, too. Good luck, Julie!

I walked in to the store, found the guy I needed to talk to and without even batting an eyelash, he handed me a $5 bill. He scribbled “+$5.00″ on my receipt but didn’t even look to be sure I was being truthful (which I verified yet again on my receipt before I called that it was indeed their error – I had 15 cans and was only charged for 14). He also didn’t try to get me to pay for the one can that escaped through as I was absolutely prepared to do. He just handed me the $5 and told me to have a great day.

You said some of the coupons are from 11/7 Smart Source. Is that a misprint or are these coupons that are coming out this Sunday?

You know I just noted what Queen Bee Coupon’s list was – BUT I think it is a misprint. I’m going to update my list momentarily.
