Rite Aid Help

New to shopping at Rite Aid? Glad to have you on board! I’m here to help! Here are a few things you should know about navigating the crazy awesome coolness that is Rite Aid.

1. Wellness Program. If you haven’t signed up for new loyalty card, go ahead and do so. You’ll be entitled to exclusive discounts plus you can rack up rewards – mostly savings on future purchases. Also, many of the sale prices and UP Reward deals require the use of a Wellness card.

2. Video Values. Watch short videos to earn Rite Aid coupon. These can be stacked with manufacturers coupons.

3. Rite Aid Rebates. Think rebates are a huge ol’ waste of time and postage? Think again! Rite Aid’s rebate program makes it quick and easy for you to get your cash back – you can do it without ever stamping an envelope, too. Create your free rebate account over HERE.

4. UP Rewards. These are coupons that print at the bottom of your receipt when you purchase participating products. I recently had a PR rep answer some of my (and YOUR) UP Rewards questions. See that post HERE. There are also general FAQs about how these work HERE.

5. Coupon Acceptance. I think you’ll find Rite Aid to be one of THE most coupon friendly stores out there! Be sure to print and bring their corporate coupon policy with you.

Still Lost?

Maybe you’d prefer to have someone sit down with you and make sense of it all? Consider watching this recorded webcast I filmed a few weeks back called Drugstore Shopping 101!

For additional Rite Aid and drugstore deals, be sure to stop by The Grocery Gathering.

Still driving to the store for your paper?

Did you know that the Tacoma News Tribune has a Sunday paper deal geared with couponers in mind?

Here’s why I personally get my paper this way:

  • It’s half off newsstand price. It’s just $1 a copy when you buy 3-6 copies versus $2 at the store.
  • No driving involved. Save gas money and time.
  • Pressure is off. I’m reading more reports of stores being wiped out of newspapers by mid-day Sunday.
  • No more stolen coupons. Tired of buying papers at the store only to have the coupons taken out? Now you can trust your coupons will be there.
  • More papers = more stockup power. Why do I get 4 copies of the paper? Because I get 4 sets of coupons, which enables me to do great stockup trips like the one where I saved nearly 80% on my bill
  • Payment options. Pay 6 months up front OR an EZ monthly payment!
  • TNT gets the Red Plum. While the TNT may miss out on some of the SmartSource coupons that the Seattle paper gets, please note that the Seattle Sunday paper contains NO Red Plum inserts. This is another reason why I prefer the Tacoma News Tribune.

For more information, please check out this post. When call for your subscription, please say you want the Sunday paper deal you saw on The Coupon Project!

Reader Sarah sent me the picture above of the Chinook Book. This coupon book sells for $15 and she found hers at her PCC. You might also find it at Marlene’s, Whole Foods, or Marlene’s (I’d call ahead). Think of it like an Entertainment Book of green/organic items. For more information, visit Chinook Book online. Sarah writes:

This book has great coupons like $ off purchase to PCC, Whole Foods, and even Top Foods. There are also tons of manufacturer coupons for organic and gluten free items, discounts for organic produce delivery companies, restaurants, etc. Their website is ChinookBook.net. It cost $15, and the three $5/25 purchase at Top Foods coupons alone pay for it!

Here are a few of my favorite sources for printable organic coupons:

Pictured above: green chard, orange, apple, avacado, and fingerling potatoes I received this week from my Full Circle Farm organic delivery.
