According to The Coupon Project Facebook page, quite a few of you were able to nab some great toy deals at Target’s clearance sale yesterday!
Reader Jennifer sent me this photo of her trip:
She writes:
Thanks to you and your amazing blog, I have finally been able to shop at Target’s 75% off summer savings. I am excited to say I was able to get $200 worth of toys for just under $70! As a mother of 4 children, I always try to save money – especially in preparation for Christmas. I have never gotten started this early in the year, but I know my children will be extremely excited that I did.
I’m so glad you got in on this sale, Jennifer! I know others of you did, too. What were some of your best finds? If you were new to this sale, what did you think?

****************************
We are sitting in the back of a Cessna 172, approaching Seattle.
Headquarters has informed me that the case has been escalated, so they will need to parachute me in. No time for lollygagging my way through an airport or risking my cover being blown. I’m not a particular fan of parachuting out of planes, but cats are known for their remarkable ability to stick a landing, so I know I’m the right spy for the job. Just to keep things interesting, of course I’ll be jumping at night.
“Agent Cat,” Felix Cat is saying, fixing my helmet on. “You know what it is you need to accomplish here?”
I nod.
Felix Cat is my CIA contact here in the States, and I’m a great admirer of his. He’s done for the CIA what I hope to do one day for the British Secret Service. His specialty is high profile cases. I had the pleasure of working with him on the Bernie Madoff case, and he also worked to bring Martha Stewart to justice for her white collar crimes as well as Winona Ryder for shoplifting. The cat gets the job done.
