Last week I shared that I will be offering a series of video shorts on how to get started with coupons. Today’s topic? How to organize coupons.
Watch for the next video next Wednesday, and every Wednesday through October! For more videos, check out and/or subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Awesome video, Ang! I prefer the category organization system because I honestly can’t remember name brands.
My coupons are organized by the store I shop most at {Winco}-by general area of the store. I know where things are at that store, and often when I’m at a store that I don’t shop at often, I’ll think to myself, “Now, where would I find that at Winco?” And, I can usually find it in the same place. Like you said, that’s what works for “my brain”, but maybe not anyone else’s. Probably NOT anyone else’s because my brain is deficient in many areas. LOL Also, I’m just starting to experiment with actually clipping coupons rather than just filing the inserts. So, my system is in flux right now.
I use 4×6 photo insert pages then each coupons are alphabetically by brand/man. Then on each page I seperate by food, household and health & beauty. This works for me because when I am creating my list I know what brand I am shopping for, and if I see something while at the store I know what department.
