UPDATE: Some of you pointed out that Safeway’s Coupon Policy doesn’t allow two coupons on a BOGO. I don’t normally shop at Safeway, and was unaware of this. However, I did check out the policy and you are correct. Given that – please accept my apologies for reporting on this deal. If you wish to do it, you can use ONE $1/1 coupon, bringing your total to just $0.70 each. Thank you!
I swear I just had the BEST LUCK finding deals today! First the great deals at Grocery Outlet, then $0.13 Trix yogurt multi-packs at Fred Meyer, and then this HOT deal at Safeway.
I found an end display with these new Starbucks Refreshers in my store. Even better? They were buy one, get one free! Even better? They had $1/1 tearpad coupons right on the display!
Here is the deal I did and it worked perfectly for me:
Starbucks Refreshers $2.39
Buy one, get one free
Use (2) $1/1 tearpad coupons
Bottom line: $0.39 total (or $0.19 each)
This was found at the Federal Way store, at the end of the aisle with the chips and soda (I believe?). Of course, your results may vary depending on what store you go to. I don’t know if I’d make an extra trip just for this deal, but if you’re there, say, for the frozen food deal this week, you might want to keep your eyes peeled….

As I understand Safeway’s coupon policy, only one coupon can be used in this case since the store is running a B1G1 free deal.
“4. Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer.”
You are right, and this was my oversight. I’ve updated my post.
Thank you!
