My Personal Thoughts & Experience with ING

I’ve been an ING customer for about a year and a half now. My husband and I have an Electric Orange Checking account, and each of our children have a Kids’ Savings Account (that we opened during a similar sale). We’ve had nothing but a positive experience with ING! Their online banking is easy to use, and their customer service is top-notch.

We use our ING Checking as our emergency cash fund. Through ING’s online banking, I set up a recurring, automatic withdrawal from our primary financial institution to clear our account each month. I have a similar arrangement for our kids’ accounts. This has been the easiest, most effective way for us to build that account – it comes right out on a payday, and it’s amazing how fast it grows!

A few other things I love about the Electric Orange Checking account:

  • NO Overdraft Fees
  • NO ATM Fees (at 35,000 ATMs nationwide)
  • NO Monthly Minimum Balance
  • NO Monthly Service Fees
  • FDIC insured

It’s really a no-fuss account, perfect for your primary checking needs, or as a second checking account to set aside money for Christmas gifts, a family vacation, or to use to better manage your grocery budget.
