I found a Groupon offer for my locals that I think would either make a great, frugal date or fun family outing!
For $5, two people can participate in a 45-minute hedge maze at The Berry Barn in Mount Vernon. And for $10, four people can participate. I’ve never even heard of this place, but turns out it’s one the largest hedge mazes in North America and made up of 2,500 hedge trees! Who knew? There’s also a viewing platform and a slide.
Note that there is a limit of 1 voucher per person and it expires August 31, 2012 – so you’d have to plan on visiting quickly.
