If you know me, you know I’m a huge Top Chef fan. You bet I got my tush to the front of the line to meet Padma Lakshmi a couple years ago back at BlogHer ’10 in NYC:
And last month I met Top Chef contestant Antonio Lofaso as part of the Supervalu Everyday Essential event I attended in NYC.
So you can bet my excitement when I heard a rumor today that Top Chef may be filming in Seattle! And the other rumor is that the Whole Foods Market store in Redmond may be teaming with them! There is no official statement yet, but Top Chef crews were spotted filming at Pike Place Market recently and Padma was spotted dining at Seattle’s Mistral Kitchen. Sounds promising to me…
Hmmmm….. all of a sudden I think I really, really need to do some more Whole Foods Market matchups around here….I’ll be the one walking around the store incognito in a trench coat and sunglasses.
Any other Top Chef fans out there?
PS Top Chef producers, if you’re reading this, I’d be happy to come on up and visit the contestants and crew and bring some fun lovin’ readers with me. Maybe we could help judge a quickfire challenge? It really would be no inconvenience at all..

OMG, I’m a HUGE Top Chef fan!!! When I watched the finals last season and saw that they were in Vancouver BC, I thought, “wow, if I would have known they were that close, I would have gone up there!!” So, are we thinking the latest season in going to be in Seattle? That would be so amazing!!! Wouldn’t it be so cool to just hang out at Judges Table and just listen in? I would totally judge a QF….sigh…
I have no idea how they schedule out their seasons….but would love to learn more. And I’d LOVE to get them to invite a whole mess of us up there – maybe for some sort of budget food quickfire? Like we should them how to use coupons, they cook for us? Hmmmm.
They were already at the Redmond Whole Foods!! Unfortunatly I did not see them, but I have some friends who were shopping, when they stormed in! So its true!

It is probably a good thing I live in Wenatchee (E WA), otherwise I would be camping out at Whole Foods!!
Oooh! That’s my Whole Foods. I love watching that show, when I can remember it’s on. I would have loved to be there.
