Are you guilty of wearing your PJs to the store? Or maybe you’ve tried to sneak in some quick shopping in the sweats you sometimes also wear to bed?
Well maybe you’d put out a little more effort if you had a little help. And that’s what I’m here to do (along with the AWESOME folks at Fred Meyer).
So here’s what’s going to go down. I’ve got three of these bad boys in my possession:
That means that there will be THREE winners, and only three. But this isn’t your average gift card giveaway. Oh no.
Each of the three winners will be invited to shop with me (along with Coupon Project contributors Lori and Erica) at a South Sound (Washington) Fred Meyer store on Friday, August 24th from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Our goal? To find you a new look in Fred Meyer’s apparel department. Something that’s fresh, fun, affordable – and that will make you look cute when couponing up and down the aisles.
BUT WAIT. There’s more.
Not only will we have Fred Meyer Apparel staff on hand to assist, we’ll also have a Maybelline Representative who will be flying in just for our event to help complete everyone’s look! I kid you not. You’re getting makeovers, people.
To recap, each of the winners will receive:
- A $100 Fred Meyer Gift Card to get yourself a cute new outfit
- A personal consult/makeover with a Maybelline Makeup Artist
- Assistance from Fred Meyer Apparel Staff
- A chance to shop with yours truly & the Coupon Project contributors

Now, for a bit of the bad news…. you can ONLY enter this contest if in fact you can make this event. And sadly, I can’t cover your travel arrangements, childcare arrangements, or doggy daycare. So you’d need to find some way of getting to the Fred Meyer (at a yet undisclosed South Sound Washington location) on Friday, August 24th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm in order to redeem this prize. If you can’t make that, I respectfully request you don’t enter the contest – sadly I have no alternate prizes. Oh and one more thing? I will be photographing and taking some snippets of video for the blog for this event. So heads up, you’ll be asked to sign a release form and say “cheese!”

I love shopping at Fred Meyer for apparel because they have a great selection and really reasonable prices. I’m usually shopping on my way home after work so I’m not usually in yoga pants but when I do have to make a trip on the weekends it’s typically in Adidas track pants.

I buy most of my clothes at Thrift stores due to my size and the cost of “fat Lady” clothes. I would love to be able to find a “style” that might make my Plus size body more fabulous!!
There is no way I am admitting to what I have worn while shopping at Fred Meyers, I haven’t been caught yet! LOL! Turning 40 this fall and feeling a bit frumpy, so I would love the chance to win a new outfit and a consult/makeover. Plus shopping with some fun people at a great store! My fingers are crossed and YES! I can make the date and time and place!!
Confession: Something I DON’T wear to the store all the time… a bra. I mean I will wear a camisole with a “shelf bra” (haha like that does anything to support the girls) but a “shelf bra” totally doesn’t count as a bra.
I sometimes go to the store in my husband’s t-shirts and sweatshirts that obviously fit me poorly and also have silly pictures on them. (Sad, but true…)

Jammies to the store …… Ha i just did it little over 12 hrs ago. And im probably going to do it in bout 10 mins to go get myself a redbull so i can have energy to keep up with my 3 very busy kids. I would love to have new clothes and my makeup done. . I have been wearing my makeup the same since middle shool! And i have never ever had my hair done by someone else. Thanks for the opertunity! I could use some new clothes for work, my clothes are worn out and looking frumpy. My husband is disabled and we have a 8 year old son so to say the least my needs are always left for last. I always end up at the store in my work clothes on my way home. My clothes at home are usually t shirts and sweats. Some help with shopping and makeup sounds like a dream.
Well, I in fact, just got back from running errands and grocery shopping in the sweatshirt and yoga pants I wore to bed. I noticed that the sweatshirt had baby spit up on it before I left, but I kept it on anyway! I love Fred Meyers and would love to win this giveaway!
I would love some new things for my wardrobe or to freshen up what I have. My two problems are money and I have no savvy when it comes to apparel. I usually have my 20 and 18-year-old help me with that. To have someone go with and to have some money would be GREAT!!!

I really could use this as a fun way to get in the spirit of taking care of me again. I am grieving the loss of my son just over three months ago and really really need to get out of the sweats all day and get back into life for my girls sake. This would be fun and uplifting.

I love shopping for socks at Fred Meyers, especially after Thanksgiving!
I have two young kids and therefore will sometimes head to the grocery store without taking a shower… To make things more interesting, one of the only things I’ve updated in my wardrobe since high school is my jeans – and I’m 30. Freddy’s would be a great place for me to learn how to shop because I do my grocery shopping there anyway, and it’s just down the street.

I am in desperate need of a new outfit! All of my clothes have bleach stains on them. I am embarrassed by my clothes but I don’t have money in my budget for new ones just yet.

I NEED some pampering, lol! I am a sahm of 4, 2 step kiddos that are 10 and 12, and 2 littles that are 2 and 4. My hubby works his construction butt of 14 hours a day and usually works on his days off. I grew up the eldest of 6 lower class kids, who’s single mom gave up everything for her kids and I find myself doing the same. Bills, kids requirements, fun activities, books and schooling, you name it…it all comes first. That is why I started couponing, yet as you may all know, that is another time-consuming activity which can have be taken as my fun-time by others, Oh yes! I love playing with coupons.
I would love to win to just get some me time and some new duds!

I sometimes wear my “mom jeans” when running to the store.
I wear sweats or old shorts with a sweatshirt or old softball t-shirt. It’s time for a change!

I cut my winter sweatpants into capris and wear the hubby’s t-shirts with flip flops! Lol! I love Fred meyers”one stop shopping” and they are always friendly and so helpful! I am in need of a fresh makeover, long over due!
I just turned 26 two days ago. My 1st wedding anniversary is coming up soon, and I’d really like to move on from the t-shirt and ill-fitting jeans I find myself in most days. I don’t really wear outfits, I love shopping and accessories but I feel like I dress the same way I have since high school most days. It has been a stressful but wonderful year and I’d really like to look like a cute young 20 something instead of a plain-Jane. I LOVE Freddy’s. They’re cosmetic section is huge and amazing, and they’ve got a lot of great clothes and accessories… although most of the time I’m running around grabbing toilet paper, and if I’m lucky, walking home with a new pair of shoes.

I honestly shop freddies in all kinds of clothing.. lol. Fred Meyer is my “go to” store, they have EVERYTHING! SO what I wear there really just depends on why im running there! lol But yes, I do wear pjs sometimes..

I enjoy shopping in Fred Meyer’s apparel and actually get quite a few things there. I will admit to the occasional shopping in Yoga pants and jacket, but I do not make a habit out of it. When it comes to pajama bottoms, no way…. You won’t catch me shopping in those!
My daughter says she wants to sign me up for what not to wear… I would like to try some new styles…
I waer my workout clothes everywhere even tho i dont workout. I own no make up and style wellthe God forgot to give me that. My sister always says i need to go on what not to wear! I NEED real help! All of my clothes i own are from a clearence rack!
I just wear whatever to Freddie’s. But I really like their clothes, especially the Levi’s and the hippie tops from One World.
I wear my workout clothes. Sad, sad. Need a nice WSU sweatshirt to go with.
