Thanks, Queen Bee Coupons!
Incidentally, I’m running a 5K the weekend after next. I adore races and have participated in many myself over the past 10+ years (5Ks through full marathons). It’s been awhile since my last race (Seattle Rock ‘n Roll 1/2 Marathon – 2010), but I’ve been working hard at getting my “running legs” back! Is anyone else training for a race? Thinking of doing one?

My Husband and I are going to San Diego this weekend for a Veterinarian Conference, on Sunday we are running a 5K that the convention is sponsoring. I’m excited to run in a new city and bring home a t-shirt momento.
I’m doing a race called Rampage at the RAC in Lacey, WA. Its a 5k Mudder. I’m super excited! Here’s the link for it: http://www.ci.lacey.wa.us/living-in-lacey/the-community/arts-and-events/rampage-at-the-rac
I started running about 2 years ago because my brother said “I am going to run a half marathon.” I said “I will do it too.” Shortly after his wife, my sister in law, and my husband decided to run too. I have since run 8 half marathons. My sister in law and I have become great friends and amazing running partners. Signed ourselves up for the Seattle Full Marathon this year in November. I have lost all but 4 pounds of the baby weight from 3 years ago, too.
