Late last night, it was brought to my attention that the Tacoma News Tribune multi-Sunday subscription offer I’ve mentioned for the better part of two years now has been discontinued. My regrets if you’d been thinking of starting a subscription or tried to call recently and was told it was no longer valid. If you have an existing subscription you’ll be able to keep it through the end of your term, but you won’t be able to renew it once it expires.
I’m disappointed to share this with you because I felt good about sharing it – getting your coupons through the newspaper is a legitimate means of doing so, and a subscription like this offers both value and convenience. Personally, it’s also how I’ve gotten my coupons for quite some time now too.
I’m hoping to share other legitimate ways of getting more than one copy of the paper in the very near future, and I surely would love it if the News Tribune will reconsider offering this at some point in the future (and if they do, you can count on me to update you!). In the meantime, I have removed the subscription offer banner from my site and you’ll stop seeing notices about it in my weekly coupon preview posts.
