Fred Meyer: HOT Crockpot and Canning Supplies Deals!

This morning I got a tip to make sure to check out the Crock Pot sale running at Fred Meyer (thanks, Carol!). (Seriously any reason to stop in at Fred Meyer is a good one!)

Here’s what I found:

Pretty much every Crock Pot had some discount – some priced better than others. I really like the red one in the photo above – it was $39.99, but it’s on sale right now for $29.99.

Here’s where things get really good: there are two coupons you can use this week at Fred Meyer towards the purchase of a Crock Pot AND a rebate offer!

  1. First, use the 10% off Extra Bonus Home coupon, which you’ll find in this week’s ad (which you can also get in the store).
  2. Second, there is a special Chili Fixings offer coupon, which again, you’ll find in this week’s ad or in the store. I found them all over the shelves! According to the fine print: “May be combined with a bonus coupon.” WOOT!
  3. Reader Carol (who also works at Fred Meyer) told me that there is also a $5 mail-in-rebate for Crockpots priced $24.99 (same as the one I reported this morning from Amazon), but I couldn’t find them. However, I don’t see why you couldn’t simply use the $5 form I shared this morning – it looks like it’s a manufacturer’s rebate to me, not specific to Amazon.

The Chili Fixings coupon states that when you buy any Crock pot priced at $24.99 or higher, you can get the following items for free:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20)… max value $4.19
  • McCormick’s Chili Seasoning… max value $1.65
  • Fred Meyer Light Red Kidney Beans… max value $0.97
  • S&W Tomatoes… max value $1.99
  • Hunts 6oz Tomato Paste… max value $1.00
  • Tabasco Sauce, 2 oz… max value $1.99

So the Crock Pot above – the adorable one in red? After the 10% off coupon you’d pay $26.99 + you’d get all the above chili items for free! If you submitted for the rebate, that price drops to just $21.99!

Here’s another one I was gaga over:

This Crockpot has three mini ones in one unit and the regular price is $59.99. It’s on sale for $34.99, so after the 10% off Bonus coupon you’d pay $31.49, plus you’d get all those chili fixings! After you submit for the $5 rebate, your new price is $26.49 – now you’re saving more than half off!

Finally, I wanted to share this with you, but note that your store’s selection may vary:

Check it out folks: canning supplies at a whopping 50% off! This is a sale, not clearance, which means you should be able to use the 10% off Home bonus coupon too! The Pressure canners pictured were $99.99, so after sale & coupon you’d pay $44.99, which is a killer deal. The small freezer containers were $2.99, so after sale & coupon those would be about $1.35! This is one of those sales where you might want to RUN not WALK.

If you’re planning a trip out to Fred Meyer, do make sure to check out my entire list of what’s on sale – there is a lot happening this week at Fred Meyer including a crazy hot Keurig sale!
