In last Sunday’s Smartsource, I saw an announcement to look for a new coupon booklet in Safeway stores. I went to my store last night and found a stack of them on a special display right by customer service. I did not find them anywhere else in the store, and I’m wondering if they’ve kept them up where employees can keep a watchful eye on them!
One thing you should know about this coupon booklet is that all the coupons are store coupons. In previous booklets, the coupons have primarily been manufacturer’s coupons. The good news is you should be able to stack these with manufacturers coupons!
All these coupons expire on 10/31/12. I’ve highlighted my favorites.

Got the book this morning and did a spot check about stacking. The few I looked at said no stacking. Not sure if they all say that or not.
While they say you can’t stack them with other store coupons, it’s not clear to me about manu coupons. I’ll shoot an email over to my contact. Their coupon policy isn’t very clear from what I could tell, either.
I found this booklet a few days ago, my concern is that all of the coupons in the book are available to download to your card.
While I don’t think you could stack the like coupons on one product, I wonder about the wording in the small print on the paper coupons.
“Only one item per coupon, one coupon per transaction, and one coupon per customer”
Could I use my Just4U coupons during 1 shopping trip and then the paper coupons on a different day?
I went to a Safeway this morning to fax something and asked the Customer Service for this booklet and she looked at me like I had two heads. I’ll try my go-to store this afternoon.
Are they out? Do not all have them?
