Canning Supplies on Sale now at Zulily!

There are some very stylish and practical canning supply items on sale right now at Zulily, under the Market Fresh sale. If you’re unfamiliar with Zulily, it’s a sample site where you’ll find new items every day. Now at Groupon (Seattle): Hurl Roma Tomatoes in a Crowd of 5,000

I can’t say I’ve ever seen a Groupon deal quite like this.

For $25, you can participate in a massive food fight where 5,000 people will basically be hurling roma tomatoes at each other (a value of $50!). This will be hosted at Pyramid Alehouse on August 11th. Apparently there will also be beer and live music at this event and you need to be 21 to attend.

There is a limited number of this Groupon available, so head to Groupon Seattle if interested.

Does anyone know if this is something they do every year? I’m strangely intrigued…

At Groupon = $10 for $20 Body Shop!

Hurry on over to Groupon where you can snag a $20 voucher to The Body Shop for just $10!

Want to know a secret? This is hands down one of my FAVORITE Groupon offers! Now at Living Social: Odyssey 1 Package for $19! (Tacoma)

Here is a great deal for my local readers: $19 gets you an Odyssey 1 package (Tacoma, WA)! That includes Lazer Tag or Play Park Admission for Three Plus Large Two-Topping Pizza and a Pitcher of Pop (a value of $39).

You might recall me talking about Odyssey recently because it’s where we had my son’s 6th birthday party last week. We love Odyssey!

If you’ve never been, here’s why I like it:

  • It feels safe. Unlike Chuck E Cheese, the playplace is contained by ONE door. You can let your kids run around and feel good knowing they aren’t going to run off somewhere you can’t find them.
  • It’s indoors. Given the unpredictable Washington weather, it’s nice to have some indoor play options.
  • Good exercise for the kids. My kids work up a serious sweat playing at Odyssey! They have stuff to climb on, climb under, jump in, and generally get the blood pumping.

One of the last times we went there, I brought my Kindle and my kids played for TWO HOURS. That was some quality Mommy time right there! I believe that they have free WiFi too. It just feels less fussy than Chuck E. Cheese. Highly recommend.
