There is a pretty hot new ibotta rebate that can help you save big on razor cartridges at Fred Meyer (and possibly, QFC) right now. In case you’re unfamiliar, ibotta is a cash back rebate app. It’s free and easy to sign up. Once you’re in the app, you can select the store you shop at to view all the potential rebates. Select the ones you’re interested in, and scan your receipt after you purchase. The money will then be added to your account and you can cash it out after you hit a $20 threshold.
Well, right now, there is a $5 rebate for Gillette Venus Cartridges (any variety – 4 pack or larger) and a $5 rebate for Gillette Cartridges (any variety – 4 pack or larger). This is a substantial discount!
Even better, you can load $3/1 ecoupon from the fredmeyer.com/coupons site OR clip the $3/1 coupon from the 7/30 P&G. When you combine the rebate and the ecoupon, you’ll slash a whopping $8 off the cost of Venus razor cartridges!
Thrifty NW Mom scouted out the prices at her local Fred Meyer store and found the Venus Cartridges were $12.99 and the Gillette Cartridge $9.99. After combining the coupon + rebate, you’d pay as little as $1.99!
What about doing this deal at QFC? Nina noted the following deal at her store yesterday:
She discovered that the razors are part of the Buy 5, Save $5 Mix & Match sale we’ve been sharing with you. This means you’d need to purchase 4 other items to get the $8.99 price (otherwise, you’ll pay $9.99). However, when I checked the ibotta app this morning, I only noted a $1 rebate available (not the higher value $5 rebate). Your results may vary, and I absolutely think it’s worth taking a look. I also didn’t find the $3/1 ecoupon at qfc.com/coupons, however, if you upload the one at fredmeyer.com/coupons and have the same phone number for both store accounts, it should work. You can also use the $3/1 coupon from the 7/30 P&G.
Under this deal, I think your scenario would be…
Gillette Cartridges $8.99 (mix & match)
$3/1 ecoupon or $3/1 coupon from 7/30 P&G
$1 ibotta rebate
Bottom line: $4.99
Obviously, this isn’t as good as Fred Meyer. If you’re lucky enough to find the $5 ibotta rebate under QFC at your account, you’d end up paying $0.99.
If you do this deal at any store, I’d love to hear about it! Leave a comment below.
Thanks to Thrifty NW Mom and Nina for helping me piece together this deal and store prices!
