Grocery Outlet: My Shopping Trip Finds & (2) $25 Gift Card Giveaway

I stopped in at my local Grocery Outlet store in South Tacoma earlier today to see what I might find on sale to report to you! As usual, I did find some stuff!

Grapes, 2 lbs for $2.99!

DSCN0184 (800x600) (2)I love buying soap at Grocery Outlet. You’ll always find “fancier” varieties, too. I think the boxed set of Italian soaps pictured here for $8.99 (reg. $24.95!) would make a lovely hostess or bridal shower gift.

You’ll also find brands you’ll recognize, too! Check out this Aveeno baby care set I spied for $6.99 (elsewhere, $11.99).

Tons of Burt’s Bees lipcare today! I even found some gift sets that came with travel bags. The prices started around $2.99 and at least a couple lip care items each.

I thought this was a stellar deal too! Physician’s Formula Organic Wear powder for $3.99. This stuff is normally $10.99.

I’ve shared this before, and the stock was still strong – non-dairy Mac ‘n “Cheez” for $0.99. Some of you have remarked it’s actually quite good. Might want to swing in if you have someone in your family with a dairy allergy/aversion/dislike/etc.

Phineas and Ferb 3-pack Kraft Mac and Cheese for $1.99.

DSCN0191 (800x600)

I found several varieties of Earth’s Best Organic snacks today for just $0.99 including bars and crackers.

DSCN0192 (800x600)

I thought these Earth’s Best organic ABC crackers were sure cute too! And yes, they were $0.99 as well!

DSCN0193 (800x600)

As usual…great deals to be had in the cheese department!

DSCN0194 (759x800)

I had to pick up this honey goat cheese log for $1.99 (elsewhere $4.39). I mean, where else can you find goat cheese for $1.99? (Unless you have a goat, of course.)

Another fabulous deal… on Feta Cheese! It was only $1.99. Excellent.

My camera died in the store today, but thankfully Christopher at South Tacoma Grocery Outlet let me use this photo from their Facebook wall! Check it out – v-neck tees for just $1.50 each! Perfect for layering, lounging, painting, working out, sleeping….

If you’re new to Grocery Outlet? You should know that each store is independently owned and operated. This means that you might find the layout, stock, and items vary from store to store. Because Grocery Outlet gets deep discounts from manufacturers and stores for their items, they do not allow coupons. I know this may be disappointing to my couponers out there, but it’s also refreshing to shop at a store getting low prices without having to remember your coupons. Grocery Outlet does put out store coupons from time to time and I encourage you to sign up for their weekly ads for access to those!

I’m very new to the Northwest area and quickly fell in love with Grocery Outlet. Of course with moving, some things tend to disappear, so my significant other and I both picked up manual can openers – without telling each other we were doing so. He went to Fred Meyer and I went to GO. I got the laugh when my nearly identical can opener cost half as much as his did!

My family has been shopping at Grocery Outlet for years, so I was really hyped when one opened up close y in Bellevue last month. Their business model is especially good for us, the consumer. If something doesn’t sell, expect the price to fall as it nears expiry. That’s when I’ll go snap them all up! Prosciutto for 25c, Feta cheese for 99c, and Tropicana Juice for 49c, all found this week!

I love the excitement of “the hunt” at Grocery Outlet! Recently I found boxes of Organic, GMO Verified Graham Crackers for $1.99 each. They sell for over $5 at other stores. I can always find a great deal here!
