Through 5/23 only, you can score a 6-pack of annuals at Home Depot for just $0.99 each!
Some of the flowers included are marigolds, petunias, and pansies. I actually was able to sneak out yesterday to pick up some of the marigolds. If you are a gardener, consider adding some of these brightly colored flowers to your garden. Marigolds have an odor that repels many harmful garden insects. Mine will go directly into my garden containers to provide a natural and attractive pest control!
Freebies2Deals suggests that if your Home Depot is low/out of stock, bring the ad to Lowe’s and they should price match. My Home Depot had MANY annuals as of yesterday.

Ladies, mark your calendars for June 3rd! From 7-8:30 p.m., Home Depot will be offering a FREE Do-it-Herself workshop! The topic? Eco-friendly gardening! While I’ve not attended one of their Do-it-Herself workshops, I recently attended a free Saturday workshop on gardening at Home Depot and learned soooo much! I hope they cover composting.
While it’s free, registration is required. You can easily do it online HERE. And, if you’ve not done so already, you might want to join their free Garden Club newsletter. They occasionally send you coupons and this would be a good one to join if you like to garden!
Terry and I got the irrigation up and running on our garden today and we’re so close to getting those containers up! I’ll have an updated post on our progress tomorrow morning.

I seriously love this freebie! This Saturday, May 1st, McLendon Hardware stores will be offering a FREE pancake breakfast! They’ll be cooking up pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee to customers from 7:30 – 10:00 am! The first 800 customers will also receive a FREE 2″ tomato plant!
McLendon Hardware stores are located in Kent, Puyallup, Woodinville, Renton, and White Center. More details in their ad.

Tomorrow (that would be Saturday), Home Depot will be offering a free gardening workshop from 9-10 am! What’s more, they are also offering a buy one, get one free sale on all vegetable, herb, and flower seed packets. (You might also be interesting in a similar sale Lowe’s is offering right now). Given my novice-level of gardening, I think this is a workshop I’ll be attending!
Also, if you’ve not already done so, I recommend you sign up for the Home Depot newsletter. That way you can stay on top of happenings such as this. In addition, I’ve received some pretty fantastic coupon offers and specials by email with this newsletter!

Here’s a great deal at Lowe’s running through the 26th: buy one, get one free NK seed packets! Also all Bonnie herbs and plants are buy one, get one free.
When I read the fine print of the ad, something stood out to me. It read “50% discount taken at register.” Well…if that’s the case, you could buy one and get it 50% off.
Either way, this sounds like a great deal to me! Just make sure your local Lowe’s is participating. On my ad, it was on the bottom of the first page.
