In case you’ve never tried it, running a coupon blog like this? Takes a LOT of work.
I’ve recently brought on a team of top notch contributors to continue to make The Coupon Project a great hub of deals and content. Today, I’m pleased to announce these fine individuals to you.
Contributor: Albertsons Twice the Value Deals
You may remember Erica from a post several months ago. Erica started couponing this year and achieved rapid success. Two things particularly impress me about Erica’s couponing ability. First, she has an uncanny ability to find unadvertised deals in the store. She is very good at this. Also, Erica has done outstanding work building positive relationships with the stores in her area – including stores which have been deemed “coupon unfriendly” by others.
You’ll find Erica posting the Twice the Value Albertsons deal posts. She goes into the stores for these posts and will share both advertised and unadvertised sales to use with your coupons.
Contributor: Rite Aid & Walgreens
With over 15 years experience couponing and a background in technical writing, Lori is going to rock at bringing you the Rite Aid and Walgreens deals each week! Lori also enjoys the thrill of finding unadvertised deals in the drugstores and it’s something she’s particularly good at, too! Like Erica, Lori has worked hard to build positive relationships with the managers at her stores. She strives to give couponers a good name through courteous, ethical couponing. I am delighted to have Lori aboard and you can watch for her to take on the weekly Rite Aid and Walgreens matchups from here on out.
The other thing you should know? Lori was selected from over 30 very qualified applicants from the drugstore contributor open call I had a month ago!
Crystal Rodgers has been couponing since 2004 and began blogging her deals at Frugal Chic Living in 2008. She holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Oregon. Crystal, her husband, and three children reside in Liberty Lake, Washington.
What struck me about Crystal? Her go-get-’em attitude. I had absolutely no hesitation in bringing Crystal on as a contributor. If you ever read her site, you’ll know she does an exceptionally thorough job of her store coupon matchups. Plus that, she already has a handle on WordPress and the wonky plug-in I use for the “select and print” format. Bringing Crystal on was basically a no brainer, and I’m honored she contributes here.
I had the pleasure of working with Sarah in a marketing capacity back in my banking days and early on as a freelance writer. Sarah has worked within the marketing and events arena for a few different companies and learned a lot about the marketing and communications industry, along with office politics and the dynamics of corporate organizations. She possesses a BA in Communication from Western Washington University. Sarah has two little ones, ages 4.5 and 2.
I approached Sarah a few months ago when I hit a breaking point and she was more than happy to help me pick up the pieces and take some of the behind-the-scenes pressure off. She’s helped with everything from accounting, technical, and research. (For instance, she did a LOT of the legwork on my recent dumpster diving post.) I had the pleasure of taking Sarah to WinCo for the first time last week so we could brainstorm my next post series (due in the fall; stay tuned!). I’m confident that having Sarah on board will help move the content on this site in positive direction as well as taking some of the day-to-day duties of the blog off my shoulders.
So there you have it! I am pleased to have these ladies on board and will trust that they will make this blog an even better resource for you!
