If the Kmart in your area is participating in the double coupon event this week, I found a deal that may just be worth doing.
The movie The Devil Wears Prada is priced at $7.50. Here's how to work this deal:
The Devil Wears Prada $7.50
$2/1 printable coupon
Doubled automatically at checkout to $4
Bottom line: $3.50!
I also hear that the DVD Raising Arizona is $5. After this $2/1 printable coupon, it'd work out to just $1!
There are additional DVD printable coupons you might want to have handy just in case. To find them quickly, sort by "Entertainment."
Be sure to read this post on the Kmart double promotion to make sure you're up to speed.
Thanks for the find, Hip2Save!

As a reminder, tomorrow Kmart kicks off its "Double Coupon Event" in many Kmart stores across the US. This is the first time in more than a year that my stores (in Washington State) will be participating.
Remember these important caveats: you must use your Kmart Rewards Card and there is a limit of 5 coupons per day for this event. Your coupons will double up to $2! This means that if you have a $2 off coupon, $4 will automatically come off at the register. Coupons greater than $2 will only be redeemed at face value. In my experience, if your coupon doubled will end up exceeding the price of the item, the coupon automatically adjusts to match the price of the item (meaning, you get it for free, but no overage).
Here are some of the best ideas for the doubler coupons, thanks to Christian Clippers! Please note that some prices may vary by region.

If you are a blogger that has covered Kmart double matchups, feel free to self-promote! Leave a comment and let us know!
Did you know this week Kmart has Snuggle on sale for just $2.50?
Did you also notice the $3/1 coupons from the 3/28 Red Plum?
That would make them FREE! In fact, you may get overage from the coupon, so it might not hurt to buy a "filler" item or two.
If your Kmart is cleared out, here are a couple idea: 1) ask for a raincheck or 2) take this week's ad to Target and ask for a price match.
Thanks, Common Sense with Money!
Bargain Blessings just emailed me to say that Kmart will be kicking off a double coupon promotion in early April (looks like the week of April 4). What's more, she has an entire list HERE of all participating stores! Awesome!
The only problem with the list is it is not organized by state. I can tell you this: stores in Tacoma, Puyallup, Kent, Seattle, Lacey, Spokane and others WILL be participating in the event! This is the first time in more than a year that us Washingtonians will be able to participate!
Those new to Kmart double promotions: they usually double coupons up to TWO DOLLARS in value! There is usually a limit – such as 10 coupons per shopping trip, and recently they've created a "minimum purchase" amount. You might want to also read up on the posts in my Kmart category for how past promotions have worked, plus a couple of my own trips from Kmart double deals.
As we get closer to the event, I'll be sure to fill you in on the details and provide you with some matchup ideas. In the meantime, I'll be doing a happy dance!
Thanks, Bargain Blessings!

Mercedes over at Common Sense with Money reported finding a great coupon booklet over at Kmart. It contains lots of great coupons, and virtually all of them are manufacturer's coupons (although there is a Kmart logo on them). She found hers in the customer service area. Above is her scanned copy so you will recognize it when you find it.
I should also share that Kmart is running another double promotion starting this Sunday, but once again, Washington stores seem to be left out in the cold. UGH! To all my non-Washington readers, you can find out if your store is participating by visiting the Kmart site, typing in your zip code, and viewing their ad. If it's a go, you'll find a notice about "double manufacturer's coupons" on the front page.

UDPATE: OK, so I got a little clarfication on this from some of the other blogs. The $25 purchase that needs to be made – can be part or all of the merchandise you intend to double with your coupons. Basically, you'll just want to make sure your subtotal rings up to $25, or you'll be out of luck! There are lots of great matchups at Money Saving Mom plus a Mr. Linky to others.
Well when I did my first Kmart double event, they were doubling up to 75 coupons per transaction. Now…not so much.
I heard rumors that Kmart might be doubling the week of 7/5 – 7/11, so I decided to email customer service. I was told select stores will be participating. They will be doubling up to 10 coupons $2 in value. 10. And if that's not disappointing enough, here's the clincher: they'll only double coupons "with purchase of $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise." The rep's email went on to clarify, "The $25 minimum is before tax and coupons."
WOW. So I guess I can't say that I'm terribly bummed that stores in Washington State are not part of this promotion. The ad is up on Kmart's site. Type in your zip code to see if your store is participating. If so, there should be notice of double coupons on the front page.
Reactions?

I made an update in mypost from a couple days ago, but I wanted to reiterate that this promotion is NOT as widespread as I initially had heard. I apologize for the confusion. My nearest store is NOT participating and many others aren't as well.
The surest way to find out is to visit here and type in your zip code. IF your store is honoring the doubles, it should appear on the front page of the ad.
Given that the stores in my area are not particapting, I have decided to not post double deals. However, I can recommend two places to head if you're trying to find deals: 1) Hip2Save has put together a wonderful, comprehensive list here and 2) Hot Coupon World has a forum devoted to Kmart that I highly recommend.
Happy shopping to all those who live near doubling Kmarts! Have fun!

EDITED: Talk about a confusing week trying to figure out who'll be participating in this promotion! Turns out my stores are NOT participating after all. The good news is you can now find out for sure by heading here and inputting your zip code. Good luck!
So I came across a most helpful post on Krazy Coupon Lady today regarding next week's double coupon event at Kmart.
Apparently all Kmart stores will be participating EXCEPT Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, and select stores in CA, FL, IN, and PA. Please also be aware that the promotion now will restrict customers to use up to 10 coupons ONLY per shopping trip per day.
Bottom line, it looks like the stores in my State (Washington) WILL be participating after all! As we get nearer to the end of the week, I'll put up a post on some double coupon deals for ya.

Once again, Kmart will be doubling coupons starting Sunday…but only for certain stores in certain states. I just called customer service and found out that no stores in Washington will be participating this time.
However, as many of my readers are in various parts of the country, I thought it worth sharing! To find out if your store will be doubling, you can call Kmart at 1-866-562-7848. Then press "4" to speak with a representative. I was able to get through right away.
Let us know if your store is a lucky one!
Thanks, Hip2Save for the heads-up!

Drats! It doesn't appear any Kmart stores in Washington State are participating in the double coupon event starting this Sunday (please correct me somebody if I'm wrong).
However, if you are one of my readers living elsewhere in this great nation, you might head to Deal Seeking Mom and check out the list she's pulling together of participating stores.
