Before we close out the year, I’d like to stop and reflect on my very favorite posts shared at The Coupon Project blog in 2016. In no particular order, here they are:
Back in the spring, I shared my favorite recipe for making roast in your slow cooker. It’s easy, delicious, and a great base for many recipes.
This year, my awesome friend and Disney expert Mike offered to write a number of travel (and often, Disney-specific) posts for my blog. Among his most popular? 5 Things you Haven’t Done at Disneyland. (Make sure to check out everything he wrote this year at my Disney page.)
This year, our family knocked off two more states of our states & capitals goal when we visited California and Nevada. This trip included seeing a few things I’d never seen before: Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and a ghost town!
This summer, the kids and I made a Summer Bored Jar – and we actually did use it!
Last spring, my daughter proudly announced she was going to be a sloth in the 2nd grade play. I was elated – sloths are my favorite animal! But also overwhelmed – how do I make a costume? It actually came together better than I could have anticipated. Here’s how I did it.
I love sharing my annual list of 10 favorite things! Included on the line-up for 2016: Zella leggings, a board game (and I hate board games), and my new favorite tea.
My Stuff I didn’t know I needed… until I went to Costco series continues to be THE most popular and most shared series here at the blog! At the end of the year, I went through all 12 posts and captured my very favorite 10 items that I bought at Costco this year.
Late last spring, I was contacted by the folks at Main & Vine, a new, one-of-a-kind store in Gig Harbor, to see if I’d be game to be one of their select ambassadors. After visiting the store, it was a no-brainer. It’s clean, open, offers local food, has an awesome deli, and stellar deals. I’ve been delighted to share tips on how to save here as well as my own store trips in 2016. And, I’ll be continuing to do the same in 2017!
I adore these New Year’s Resolutions printables I shared with you recently. I hired a talented graphic designer to put them together so I could offer them as a FREE gift to you! I think she did a fantastic job – and I think they’re among the best resolution planning printables you’ll find. (Make sure to read my post on tips for writing better resolutions if you need additional help!)
That’s a wrap for 2016, folks! I’ve got some great ideas for 2017 including a facelift of the blog (I really don’t look much like the headshot in the sidebar anymore!), more home organization/DIY posts, and more posts to help you save big money! Stay tuned.
