(Previously reported, but thought I’d share it again. The deal did work for me yesterday and it has before too. The coupon policy doesn’t address this scenario, so your results may vary. Heads up.)

Here is what I purchased for about $70 this weekend at Fred Meyer, and what I got for free from my garden and my parents’ apple tree. We also have some produce from last week that’s still good (raspberries, potatoes, kale, and collards), so that explains why you’re not seeing as much green in this photo. ;)

We now have tomatoes and cherry tomatoes coming out our ears! I actually dehydrated dozens of the cherry tomatoes last week for sun-dried tomatoes. I also harvested a number of tiny red peppers and lemon cucumbers.

I also harvested more of these dry-shelling beans:

These groceries and produce will take care of all our meals this week (my goal is to eat from home this week), including dinners, breakfasts, lunches, smoothies, and snacks and some household items we were in need of (paper towels, foil, and freezer bags).

It’s been really helpful for both our budget and my crazy busy life to have gotten back into a routine of planning my meals and shopping once per week.

Not bad for $70, methinks.

If you’re planning a trip to Fred Meyer, make sure to check out the master list of what’s on sale this week!
